I've posted some trivia about some games in the Shin Megami Tensei franchise and I made sure I followed the rules and knew where I should put them and I did ask for Dazz's advice


But how long does it take for a trivia to be approved and does the approval process have to do with how popular a series is

I mean sure Megami Tensei games are nowhere near as popular as say.....Mario but I'd like to know how and why it took so long cuz the six trivias I've submitted have been in the Pending process for over a month now and I need help

Trivias usually take months for it to be accepted/rejected.

The funny thing is,before this submission I did another one before it that got rejected within 10 minutes since I didn't know the formula at first........but when I follow it to a tea then it waits for months


No offense to the people behind the site but why are only TWO PEOPLE going through thousands upon thousands of submissions

Couldn't they get more people to go through them or heck pick a mod to help them

In any case,I might never submit trivia ever again after this.

Probably the other admins and mods are busy doing other important things.

Take into consideration that we have jobs, school, family (I have 2 children) and a slew of other things going on in our day-to-day.
When submissions are accepted, they are placed in a queue and are released one trivia per hour.
Also, they have sister sites to run. DYKG on YouTube, The VG Resource/The Spriters Resource and those guys listed under "Friends" at the bottom-right of the page have YouTube channels and/or other things they have going on.
You are more than welcome in the forums (Hella lot less drama than Facebook, too).

Oh, and the broken formula thing is the same as a car missing the engine. It ain't gonna start.

I understand you guys have jobs and families I really do hence why I suggested to get some people to help and eliviate the issue

I'm not asking for mine to be accepted instantly,I'm just wondering how things are handled especially with so much pressure being put on two or three people and I understand that circumstances may not allow mods and other people to be active here

I have 65 trivias that have still yet to get approved, and most of them of those trivias were submitted over a month ago.
I find this strange since I've only had one of my trivias submitted that got approved, and I only submitted the trivia a day before it got approved. Has anyone has this sort of problem yet where they had inconsistencies in how long their trivias submitted got approved?

I've had that problem too where I posted a bunch of trivias and its been over a month since I submitted and they haven't even been approved yet. And some of my trivias are Mario games. Yeah, I'm sorry you have the same problem as me.
Personally I think the Shin Megami Tensei series needs more trivias since I feel the series in general is not well known.

My current oldest pending trivia (out of 71) is from November 15, 2015. It takes time. Sometimes they get approved based on the game/company/system or just on relevance, so that could be why that one got approved so fast.
