The version of Melee's remix of the DK Rap featured in Smash Bros. for WiiU is oddly abridged, removing significant sections of the song. Mainly, it removes the segments that refer to Chunky and Lanky Kong

Abridged Version from Smash WiiU:
While it could be argued that the change was due to Chunky and Lanky supposedly no longer being usable by Nintendo due to Rare (The original developers of Donkey Kong 64.) being bought by Microsoft in 2002 (One year after Melee's release.), this likely isn't the case as Brawl (Which was released in 2008) featured the full version of the song.
A more likely explanation is that this change was made to standardize the song with the rest of the soundtrack. Most songs in Smash WiiU average around 2 minutes in order to save space on the game disc.
