If given the chance, invest in the red joy-cons. They are bomb as f*ck. Downside is they are pricey.
I'll be looking into that. My joy cons are already messed up. It sucks when I don't have a pro controller.

Reposting from "Gaming News" as it applies here as well:
Though a lot of games will have the feature by default when it releases, according to listings of Nintendo's website some Switch games will not be able to use the Cloud Save feature of Nintendo Switch Online.
Games that won't support the feature (So far):- Splatoon 2
- Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee
- Dark Souls Remastered
- Dead Cells
- NBA 2K19
- FIFA 19
SOURCE
In my opinion, while this definitely sucks, it's not completely unwarranted. Pokémon has had a history of people manipulating the save data to duplicate Pokémon and Splatoon 2 has had problems with hackers in the past so not giving them access to manipulate the save data/rankings makes sense. Similar arguments could be made for the 3rd party games as well. So, while it might not have been the best way to deal with the problem, it's not something Nintendo is doing just to spite players.
UPDATE: Nintendo confirms this decision was due to worries of save data manipulation/item duplication in online games

In addition to a Wall Street Journal report, Eurogamer is also stating that Nintendo is planning to release two Switch hardware revisions later this year and that they are likely to be announced during E3.
Source
One will (allegedly) be a cheaper, handheld-only variant meant for younger players. While the other will be a more powerful, enhanced version meant for "avid gamers". The cheaper model will ditch features like HD Rumble to keep the price low, while the "Pro" model has a power increase similar to the New 3DS over the original.

The thing is, I could see the kid version. For the most part only kids are playing 3DS systems now and Nintendo is desperate to get rid of the system at this point, so a handheld only version of the Switch would be right up their ally. That said, the more powerful one I'm questioning, which is why I didn't put this in the E3 2019 thread. A more powerful one is coming I'm sure, but unless it had a standard amount of storage, which at this point is a terrabyte, announcing a more powerful system could come back and bite them. For that matter, the handheld only Switch better come with an adapter or it New Nintendo 3DS controversies all over again. If Nintendo really wants to do these systems, they've got to do them right, but there's so much wiggle room to do them wrong, it's hard to know where they are gonna go.
