But, it's only if you received a code from those websites, or if you had taken part in the previous free trial. Neither of those has happened to me...so, while I would love to try it before I buy it, since I hate buying things without first playing them, I have no way of doing so.

Check your pms. Anyone else want one?

Thank you, that was very nice of you. Prepare to see a Sylvari necromancer sometime tomorrow with (hopefully) my username.

Cool, I'm on the Henge of Denravi server. I don't have any open slots to role a new character, but I can party up with a lvl 30 Elementalist I don't use much.

Sounds fun. If this goes well, I'll probably end up buying this the next time I have some extra money.

Judging by the sales, Nintendo will probably end up down hill like Sega with the Wii U currently being the least selling console ever made by Nintendo.

Hmm... I honestly don't think they said anything about it. I think they're trying to use Earthbound to raise Wii U sales xD

I figured. I'll be checking the eShop on my 3DS soon-ish anyway, just to be on the safe side.

Oh hey, did anyone see the new trailer for Shinji Mikami's Project Zwei, now known as Evil Within?

I actually have a crazy theory on the title, by the way. "Zwei" is the German word for "two".
This game is named "Evil Within" as opposed to Mikami's last foray in
horror "Resident Evil". So, does this mean it's his "Second Evil"?
Forthermore, a resident is someone within a certain place. I smell conspiracy.

Mikami said that he only chose Zwei because it sounded cool. The Evil Within part makes a lot of sense though.

Eeh, this too shall pass. For a while the first Wii sold very slowly. The gaming masses weren't sure they wanted this little box that just did.. What? What does it even do? But as more new and original games came out people started buying it. The same will happen with the Wii U. This isn't a device for early adopters. It's a device for people who sometimes play Wii Bowling.

lolno.

Nintendo isn't going to go under because of the Wii U selling poorly right now. Nintendo still has the 3DS, and that's getting major support.

The issue I see with the Wii U was they launched it too early. And in a way, it's not really a next-gen console. BUT, they're a company that does REALLY well software wise than they do hardware. They got LUCKY with the Wii. The Gamecube and N64 didn't sell well compared to its competition either.

Same sentiment. When the Wii came out, it sold incredibly well to the point where many stores ran out on launch day. For almost a whole year it became incredibly hard for people to find a Wii due to the sales, to the point where some just bought Wii's so that they could sell them online for a higher price.

Shinji Mikami shall grace the world with another survival horror game? Just awesome. Hm, the dev team is a smaller subsidiary of Bethesda's parent company....eh, not too sure if I like that part. Hopefully, it turns out really well, and possibly puts back some horror into the survival horror genre.

Actually, now that I've read a bit, I noticed Tango Gameworks was first opened by Mikami himself, and he hired people from Capcom, Grasshopper, and Patinum. And then Tango was bought by ZeniMax, Bethesda's parent company. Thought it was kinda interesting.

On launch day they sold out in some places, yeah, but I seem to remember hearing that in its first quarter Nintendo was disappointed with its sales. Not that it was super bad, just that it was slower than they expected. Maybe I'm wrong but that's how I remember it going.

I'm SO pumped to play it. Bethesda doing horror with Resident Evil's creator: AWESOME.
