RE: Pets - Hexadecimal - 07-10-2013 DAMMIT, DAHLIA! YOU PISSED ON ME ON PURPOSE! RE: Pets - Beware of Cuccos - 07-10-2013 BAHAHAHA Aww poor Hex! It's both funny and sad RE: Pets - Hexadecimal - 07-10-2013 I brought the kids home strawberries from work so they love me for the moment. Also... I think I'm gonna take Iris to the vet when I'm able to. I don't like how she seems to really be in pain when her tummy is touched. She is a guinea pig, so she could be just over dramatic, but I want to be sure. RE: Pets - Hexadecimal - 07-12-2013 Life is a real bitch a lot of the time. Scuzzy died from a UTI and Iris apparently has a little bit of one, which she just got a shot for today, and will get a second on Monday. Blood isn't pouring out of her like with Scuzzy, but just the fact that she has the same thing really bothers me. RE: Pets - Hexadecimal - 07-15-2013 Iris goes in today for her follow up shot. The day after she got the first one she bled a little, but then actually started to stretch out and lay around like Dahlia. I'm so glad I took her in and everything's going to be OK! So she's going to be alright?? RE: Pets - Hexadecimal - 07-15-2013 (07-15-2013, 12:32 PM)Beware of Cuccos Wrote:(07-15-2013, 10:48 AM)Hexadecimal Wrote: Iris goes in today for her follow up shot. I guess since I noticed her stomach being tender I caught it when the UTI was just starting, so it's really not a big deal. She's probably over it now with how she's acting, but the second shot is just to make sure. I was worried about her. I was really stressing because of how horrible Scuzzy's death was. Since he wasn't getting better the vet was actually going to do an X-Ray on the day he died to see if it was something else. I really wonder if Scuzzy had a UTI and died because just because he was so old and had been neglected or if something worse was ailing him. RE: Pets - Hexadecimal - 07-15-2013 Got back from the vet a little while ago. As I was walking in a lady with a large, gorgeous, mixed breed dog was walking out of the exam room. This dog both wanted me to pet it, and see what I had in the cage, so it nearly yanked its owner's arm off. I set the cage on the counter since Iris was running around and freaking out and went up to the dog so it wouldn't bother Iris. That thing seriously just attacked me with love. It slobbered all over my hair, face, shirt, and nearly knocked me down. I hope the owner gets that behavior under control before that dog meets any kids; then it's going to be a total sweetheart. RE: Pets - Hexadecimal - 07-21-2013 Kinda stupid, but I filmed the tail end of their first time being allowed to run around in a back room. They still got into mischief, though. (JK he could barely hurt a fly) Strange how they got the image of a killer when he hides from my 3 year old niece and 2 year old nephew. I remember when I was at my ma's and they got their other pitbull, Penny. Man, was she an energetic dog. I seriously think she had way too much energy. They had another pit named Ed, but he was the sweetest most loving dog I have ever met. But he is a protector. Anywho, back to Penny. I remember coming home from school once, came to the front door and just watched Penny react to me being home. She jumped on the door to look at me, and then when I'd walk in, she'd wag her tail so hard, that her back half was wagging. My dad got mad at her once when she was up here at my dad's. She ended up pooping in one of his shoes... yeah. RE: Pets - Hexadecimal - 07-22-2013 Hey, to all you folks who have cats: Do you think they'd tolerate you trying to jump in on the whole "Cat Beard" trend? I get a kick out of those photos.
