It's between 60 and 70 Fahrenheit at the foot of Appalachia.

Because I live in weird state weather-wise we often go from high 70's during the day to below freezing by the time I go to bed.

My family used to have a tradition of putting the tree up after Thanksgiving dinner at my mammaw and pappaw's home. I wish we still did that.

We have a tradition saying that we'll put it up, and sometimes we do. However, it usually ends up being there until about July.

My dad put up the tree downstairs one year and since it was in a place nobody but my brother and I went to, it stayed up until about a year after I got out of high school, like 8 years later.

My brother is such a nerd.Just got around to putting up the tree since we wanted to be put it up when my brother got here, and my brother got here today. My brother has decided to put his Darth Vader helmet on the top of the tree for a day to celebrate the release of Star Wars VII.

Had a mini-early-Christmas last night with the 'in-laws' as I'm flying to France before the 25th (my better half is spending Christmas with her parents and is joining me after).

They got me some very cozy ear-muffs, warm gloves, Super Smash for the 3DS and a set of peaceful owl bookends :)
