THANK

RE: Pets - Hexadecimal - 10-24-2013

That is epic! You should do a spoof of the Indigo Prophecy game cover with your kitty on it!

RE: Pets - Hexadecimal - 10-25-2013

Dahlia had herself a little adventure! She got away from me while I was cleaning the cage and ran behind the couch. Since they think every bag is a carrot bag I picked one up and shook it until she came running.

Haha aww that's cute :) She's a little adventurer!

Love it.

I'm looking at Chartreux breeders in Canada (just for fun and also because I want one), and this one website is a whole 5-a-day dose of fun :D

SO GLITTER[Image: mybannerglitterb902375eft1.gif]
WOW

There's also this one cat that has obviously seen things.

I feel sorry for you dog and cat owners because you always have to deal with this:

I'm not sure where Dahlia and Iris will go after I move, but it won't ever be in the kitchen again! I won't miss them screaming at me whenever I open the refrigerator and I won't have to share my apples or watermelon anymore.

I hate this. Putt is really beggy and we have to tell him no like 10 time before he goes away. AND THAN he will come back and sniff all around where you ate scavenging for food.

RE: Pets - Hexadecimal - 11-06-2013

I felt bad that I hadn't given the girls carrots after I posted. Unfortunately they didn't make as much noise as they usually do. I think they're scared of the camera:

It's really hard to hear, but they don't like the Addams Family theme. Whenever it plays, they rumble:

"You're not gonna take my carrot, are you?":

RE: Pets - Beware of Cuccos - 11-07-2013

Nola begs. She knows when a can is being opened, and when i'm getting into the pantry, fridge or cabinets. It's really funny. Sometimes i'll give her a piece of turkey lunch meat and she'll be the happiest cat ever.

Also, she's at the office with me again today. She has an appointment with the groomer at 10:00.

RE: Pets - Beware of Cuccos - 11-07-2013

Proud mommy moment! I took Nola to get groomed at Petco today because she needed her nails trimmed. I had them do the full basic grooming package. When I picked her up, they told me that she was SO GOOD that they put a note in the computer about how well behaved she was! They said she did great during the whole thing- nails, ears, brushing, even the bath! She was so well behaved that they didn't have to put her in the collar thing that holds them in place. They loved her so much, they all came out to tell me when I came to pick her up. They adored her! They said she was the BEST cat they have ever had! I'm ecstatic!

^ That really is something to be proud of! Stupid question, but how do you trim a cat's nails? I'd think it would be a little weird since they're retractable.

I hate trimming my pigs' nails since it stresses them out so much, but at least theirs' are clear. Scuzzy had some black ones, but I got lucky since he would actually help me trim them. He'd sit still through the entire thing and let out a little whimper if I started cutting too close so I would move the clippers up.

You just clip'em as you would with many animals.
On most cats, you can see up to where you should trim as they're relatively translucent.
If your cat is not a happy cat and retracts its claws, you push down on its little pad and the claw comes out.

Boo to people who have their cats completely declawed. AND DEWHISKERED. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT !?

DEWHISKERED?!?! WHY IS THAT EVEN A THING?!?!

Cutting pets nails can be a pain in the ass.
There's actually tissue inside the nails, and people tend to cut too far back and cut the tissue, which is extremely painful for them, which is why a lot of animals put up a fight.

In a cat, it's called a "quick".
