That's one of the big points of the Zelda games to familiarise your self with the gameplay from the other games. Not only that but it's the story for the Zelda games that changes. Plus they add a new gameplay element to most of the games that helps differentiate them, like the boat or the train or the cap. But that's the same thing with a different name A horse, a train, a boat, a bird, a wolf (etc) to travel around the overworld. It's another part of the gameplay that stays the same, therefore re-using old gameplay elements but with slight alterations. It's what we expect from a Zelda game, so it's not new. But then there are the cap and the time traveling and the four Links and whatnot from time to time. Btw. I'm not exactly defending the games, I've never even played one. RE: Confessions - Ryan - 03-30-2013 I'm not a fan of Secret of Mana. RE: Confessions - BomberJ - 03-31-2013 I never ended a WRPG (Fallout, Elder Scrolls...) RE: Confessions - thescottishgamer - 03-31-2013 I despise LoL (League of legends) I get far more pissed than I should about certain Internet reviewers of games, take for example Angry Joe. I despise the idea of gaming "Journalists" and will rant to no end about them. I have barley played any Legend of Zelda games and don't like what I have played of them (Orcarina, Link to the past, Twilight Princess). RE: Confessions - gaiages - 03-31-2013 I've never beaten a Metal Gear Solid game that I haven't played on the easiest setting. I was proud of my MGS2 no-kill run... on Very Easy. >.>" I'm terrible at pretty much every Mega Man game. Only two I'm good at: MMX because I've played it like ten times, and MMX4 because of that stage that makes you go ultra fast if you want that heart tank. You NEED to get better. :p I beat the final boss of Dragon Age: Origins on Easy Mode because I had no clue what I was doing with the battle system. Speaking of Dragon Age, most of my characters left me or died. At the end of the game, I only had seven party members, including myself. Bad choices are, well, bad. I liked that DS remake of Lufia II. I haven't played about half of the games I own. That's like 300 games. My Steam game collection is embarrassingly large. RE: Confessions - Milkman - 04-01-2013 -I've never once played any JRPG ever. Not even Final Fantasy. -I'm a Sony fanboy -I've never owned any gaming system that came out before 2000 (Besides PSX and PS2), or played any of the games that came with them. -I like 4th gen pokemon more than I like most 1st gen pokemon. RE: Confessions - Awesomessprime - 04-03-2013 If a game can be beaten in a day I beat it in a day even if it takes me 24 hours of straight play I will still do it. I Utterly disdain the grand theft auto games talk about recycled crap. RE: Confessions - Ouberry_13 - 04-03-2013 I think Journey is just a slightly above-average game, and does not deserve all the praise it receives. I think some indie developers are pretentious. Just listen to any interview with some of these people, and they act like they're the shit because they made a game. Console fanboys are stupid and do nothing but waste their breath. Same goes for PC fanboys. DSPGaming is a dumbass. But mah uberx gayming PC ez thosend tims b3TT3r than joor stoopid vidya stayshun!?"!()ยค= RE: Confessions - RyeoNox - 04-03-2013 I never played Final Fantasy 7. I can't kill the easiest dragon(Yian-Kut-Kut?) in Monster Hunter without cheat. I absolutely hate playing games with a keyboard. I prefer playing shooters with analog sticks than a mouse < (Please don't kill me for this one) RE: Confessions - strangeguru - 04-03-2013 I hate Skyrim but I've only gone as far as becoming the thane of whiterun. I think videogame soundtracks are better than ordinary songs. I am a PSASBR fanboy when people talk about SSB. I like Cole MacGrath from Infamous as a character but slightly hate is "gravely" voice. I think playing Pokemon is too much hard work. RE: Confessions - gaiages - 04-03-2013 I played Yumi Nikki for about ten minutes before I was too creeped out to continue. All I did was walk around. I haven't beaten the original Super Mario Brothers. I hate Mortal Kombat. I've taken a couple Club Nintendo codes out of my roommate's Wii games. He wasn't using them! RE: Confessions - CosmykTheDolfyn - 04-03-2013 I had two Nintendo 64s because I hated memory cards so much. I would just leave a game that needed a memory card in for weeks at a time without ever turning it off. If I wanted to play a second game, I'd play my other N64. I never owned a memory card for the N64 until after the gamecube came out. |
