Oh my god Hex that's so cute!

RE: Pets - Hexadecimal - 06-19-2013

I miss Scuzzy so much; he was cool with anything I did to him. Baths, nail trimming, haircuts, cleaning out his impaction, putting him in stupid outfits, and so on. I especially miss taking naps with him on the couch because he'd run up to my right shoulder, snuggle against my face, and sleep with me.

I like Dahlia and Iris, but they also make me realize how special Scuzzy really was.

Oh god... All my guinea pigs are randy right now. Everyone is trying to mount each other so I've taken Colonel Mustard out but the girls are chasing each other around now. THESE RODENTS ARE CRAZY.

Wow lol, that made me laugh. Never heard the term "randy" before. Not popular description around where I live I guess. Slang is odd that way...

So... What's the grossest thing your pets, past and present, have ever done?

RE: Pets - CosmykTheDolfyn - 06-28-2013

My dog, when she was a puppy, was playing with my brother. She jumped up in his face and caught several of his braces in her teeth and ripped them out. That was fun to explain to the orthodontist.

Oh my god I'm cringing! Were his teeth at least alright? That really had to have hurt!

Right now I'm really happy with Dahlia and Iris since they're so smart! They know that when I take their igloo out so they can't hide that I want to take them out, so now they immediately rush over into their guinea pig bed. I'd been herding them in there since they really don't like being picked up, so they actually put two and two together.

Got a visitor at work today! Meet Woody, the families yellow lab. He's been a part of our family for years. My parents are having their house, yard and garage bombed for fleas, so they brought him to the office while that's going on.

His teeth were fine, but it did quit quite a lot.

I'm not a dog person, but he really is a good one. He's sweet and lovable. He's just really old.
Yesterday, I brought him and my brothers dog, Sidney, some fancy milkbones dipped in (fake) chocolate from The Chocolate Bar downtown.

This is Sidney.

Ahhh! It looks like Sidney's smiling!
