Did you know that Parasite Eve is actually based off a novel by Hideaki Sena? The novel came to western territories AFTER the games, so I can see why westeners are mostly familiar with the video games.

So there's this Elden Ring player called “Let me solo Her” who made his personal mission to defeat Melania (who many people consider to be the hardest boss of the game) over and over and over again. There's fanart and even a statue made in his honor.
