Just to be clear this is not going to be livestreamed but Pokemon's offical twitter will be posting about what's going on.

You can also watch Yuji Nakamura's tweets as he seems to be giving more details. He says Gamefreak, Nintendo and Niantic are there, pretty much confirming rumors. Here's his twitter handle: https://twitter.com/ynakamura56

A new game for Switch and Smartphones called POkemon Quest has been announced, it's a blocky, free to play Spin-off title. Another game is still set to be announced.

A core Pokemon game is set to be released in the latter half of 2019, doesn't that make it feel like these games are meant to distract us from the fact that Nintendo couldn't keep their word about a core game this year? Kinda disappointing in the long run.

Y'all seem to have this covered, but I figured linking just the twitter might be appropriate as they're still unveiling things.

Nothing of relevance has happened on the FO4 stream. Its just been key employees screwing with us the last few hours. Pretty funny tbh. Not expecting anything until around 9am-1pm tomorrow based on speculation.

RE: E3 2018 - RepentantSky - 05-29-2018

According to the Pokemon twitter, the Pokemon at the end of the trailer is a never before seen one, we are getting a new Pokemon. I am all about that.

They never said the core games were for this year. They just said they "might not release for a MORE than a year." Which a lot of people hopefully though meant late 2018, but its clear by the way it was announced that they had only just started development so I always took it as 2019 as the earliest.

Bethesda teased a new Fallout game (titled 'Fallout 76') on their livestream.

Insiders have described the game to be an online survival game akin to DayZ and RUST, rather than a traditional entry in the series.

I don't know how much I like the online idea, or how much I can put faith in Kotaku to be honest, so I'm still skeptical here, because regardless of these people they say they talked to, it's still a rumor, and they are presenting it as fact. That said, we got less than two weeks before we know what's going on, so I'm keen to wait. It's not that long now until we know for sure.

A bunch of potential news and leaks just dropped this morning:

AC Odyssey Potential Leak: https://www.dualshockers.com/assassins-creed-odyssey-leaked-greece/

GTFO will be playable at E3: https://www.dualshockers.com/gtfo-screenshots-e3-pc/

Maxi confirmed for Soul Calibur VI (I fully suspect this game will be at E3 in some capacity): http://www.gameinformer.com/games/soulcalibur_vi/b/playstation4/archive/2018/05/31/new-soulcalibur-vi-trailer-showcases-maxi-39-s-return.aspx

RE: E3 2018 - Boyobmas - 05-31-2018

This image from 4chan has been circulating the internet. It shows some of the games that are supposedly to be playable at the Nintendo Switch booth at E3 including some unannounced ports with Dragonball Fighterz and Fortnite.
Usually these types of "leaks" are obviously fake but this time around multiple big outlets including Kotaku and Destructoid have vouched for some of these game's existence. (Mostly of Dragonball and Fortnite) which gives this list some validity.

In my opinion, I don't find this as convincing as some people do. Alot of the big names here are obvious and expected, and I have no doubt that they are actually happening if Kotaku and such are to be believed. This just sounds like someone making some safe bets. It also seems too few and not really a lineup exciting enough to be everything they have at their booth. Also where are all the 1st party titles?

When I first saw this I skeptic as well, and I kind of still am. First off despite people's insistence that the 3DS is dead, Nintendo is still supporting it, and we know there are 3DS games in their line-up like Luigi's Mansion and Treasure Toad Tracker. Sure someone could say this is just a Switch portion of their pamphlet, but I call some serious BS on that without Pokemon Let's Go Eevee and Pikachu, Metroid Prime 4 and Bayonetta 3 on there, and if they really have this pamphlet, why only leak one portion of one part of it, when you likely could leak the whole lineup. I'm not saying a lot of these games won't be there, because Fortnite and DBFZ both make sense, and several of these titles have already been confirmed, I'm just saying that this is a small-line-up of the games that MIGHT be there. Really the only true surprises are Overcooked 2 and this whole brand new IP called Killer Black Queen, or Killer Queen Black. This isn't nearly as big a deal if it's true as say, Ubisoft's new AC game getting leaked and probably being the thing they will spend 45 minutes with in their pre-show.

RE: E3 2018 - RepentantSky - 06-01-2018

A new story from screenrant of all things suggests that The Coalition is working on 3 Gears of War games, and one is a Battle Royale title: https://screenrant.com/gears-of-war-battle-royale-e3-2018/

Fortnite has been rated in Korea for Switch: https://gematsu.com/2018/06/fortnite-rated-for-switch-in-korea

I'm seriously wondering if this doesn't have something to do with the stupid-ass lawsuit against Fortnite from PUBG Corp, or may go some way to suggesting that Internet Cafe's there might have Switch's as well for people to play on simply due to their much easier to maintain nature. It could also be that crossplay between Switch and PC will be a thing, supporting my idea, and that the game is only coming to Switch in Korea to boost sales at Internet Cafe's. We'll have to see though.

RE: E3 2018 - RepentantSky - 06-01-2018

Anthem took a page from Ubisoft and posted a short video the game for EA Play: https://www.dualshockers.com/anthem-e3-2018-teaser-info/

Also, Bioware has shown off the key image for Anthem going forward: https://www.dualshockers.com/anthem-key-art-ps4-xb1-pc/

RE: E3 2018 - RepentantSky - 06-01-2018

Sony's turn for leaks now as Bloodborne 2 and a possible Horizon Zero Dawn leak are on the way: http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2018/05/31/bloodborne-2-horizon-zero-dawn-sequel-e3-2018/

I fully expect that Bloodborne 2 will happen, and have thought as much for months now, but I don't quite buy into a new Horizon Zero Dawn game, I doubt it's possible for a new one to be made that quickly.

RE: E3 2018 - RepentantSky - 06-03-2018

Limited Run will have a press conference at E3 as well set for 12 PM June 11th: https://gematsu.com/2018/06/limited-run-games-e3-2018-press-conference-set-for-june-11

Honestly, this one is probably skip-able, and can be viewed at a later time if that's preferred.
