^I was just coming here to post that. Thank God for Jim Sterling and Angry Joe.

He nailed what I've been telling people. They're trying to scapegoat honest customers for demanding honest business, and still trying to pretend like MMO's haven't had evolving, server-side worlds "in the cloud" for 15+ years and that their fake family plan for 60 minute trial sharing, wouldn't be possible by legitimizing the gamesharing PS3's had for years, with the same system activation/deactivation and sub-account control/limits for access to digital game libraries and individual games.

I'm just glad there's people out there with big audiences and loud voices to say all the stuff that would just get us dismissed, blocked and trolled.

You know, at times, I actually feel sorry for Microsoft and think that all the hate they've been getting is widely undeserved. Then I see how they've been acting with every step and I don't feel bad anymore.

Between this, Windows 8, and Microsoft Surface, the company's in really deep doo-doo now.

You know, reading this chart, I have this terribly paranoid feeling... what if PRISM was forcing Microsoft to find any means necessary to stick on that 24/7 internet connection? What better way to spy on people by having the Kinect on all the time, connected to the internet? And Microsoft was defending this feature so much despite it not being needed at all, that it just seemed absolutely bonkers of them to keep their guard up for so long. Granted, I don't have proof of this, but the government has done very sleazy things to spy on people before; I wouldn't put it past them on forcing a company to keep their 24/7 DRM.
