I like Morgan and it's too bad that he only got one episode last season, and it was more or less a reality check for Rick to not go revenge crazy on the Walkers. I really hope he doesn't turn into what Mural was last season.

The whole plot was a story being told by Judith to some grandchildren and humanity is being start all over again. As Glen once said "I'm a glass half full kinda guy" but I know how life works. Knowing how dark the series can get and has gotten at this point, it will probably end with Judith as the last surviving human on earth just about to die long after her last relative does.

That's an interesting way to look at it. I wouldn't hate to see that ending.

Which ending? the good one or the bad one? I really want the good one, but again "the glass is half full."

Morgan- He's coming back?! Yaaay! I LOVED him in the two episodes he's been in. Also in the comics. I thought that the minimal use of his character made that much more of an impact.

Ending- The one where Judith is telling the story of how things went down. Although I personally don't think Judith will make it much longer.

Ok, I put it in the original post.

Personally, I don't think she should/would/could have died in that room. She was a survivor. It was painful to watch how the writers forced her to fumble around with her feet. There is no way her instincts would allow that. Also, by the time he turned, she had at least one hand (maybe two, but I can't remember. I'll have to re-watch it) free, which is all you need to stab a walker in the face (like she did with the screwdriver in season 2).

Not to mention her being free of restraints, when Glenn was completely tied to a chair, he was able to fight off a walker. HE. I love Glenn, don't get me wrong, and that scene was fucking amazing. But how in the hell could he survive and Andrea not? Just because he's a guy? No.

Also, how was she bit on the neck? If a walker got close, instinct would tell her to shove it away. Wouldn't you? So if a walker was able to get a bite on her (which I don't believe it could) it would have happened on her arm.

The season 4 premiere: Ok. I think the others were a little better but still a good way to start the season. I love how the ending was leading to something a lot bigger. I really did not like the big effect shot in the general store. It looked like...... a big effect shot. What are your guys thoughts?

I enjoyed that scene. That was something new- we hadn't seen it rain walkers yet. I enjoyed the premier, as it was different from the others we've seen. I like that it was drawn out, with both good and bad things happening.
  • Beth is becoming emotionless and I don't know how I feel about that.
  • Carl is possibly getting along with Rick again?
  • Carol wants the kids to be able to defend themselves (I totally agree!!).
  • I don't know how I feel about the new guy. I bet he's an alcoholic, but I can't tell yet of he really wants to be a part of the group, or if he's shady.
  • Daryl's not letting the leadership thing get to his head.
  • I LOVED the make up and effects in this episode! One of my favorites was the dirty chick in the woods. SHE LOOKED AMAZING. I was so impressed. I was rooting for her, too. I knew I shouldn't have been, but I was.
  • My other favorite was the EYES. Ho-ly SHIT. I can't wait to see more of that.
  • So, we have the fence walker, the cow, and now the kid. Water? Soil? Food? I'm thinking it's one of those. Probably not water, because Rick touched water at the beginning of the episode, so i'm thinking the vegetables. HOWEVER, since the kid coughed in the water bucket, could it become contaminated, if it wasn't already?
What are y'alls predictions/theories??

Know that a few hours have passed and I know that everyone who has not DVRed it has most likely seen it, there's a lot that I liked in the premier.

The first, like you said, was the makeup. The prison people look clean and the walkers looked dirty, which has a nice yin-yang thing going for it. The crazy lady in the woods was most likely suppose to look like a walker to get us to think about it.

The big effect shot that I was talking about only really got bad near the end when the chopper came down. You could tell that it was CG and looked kind of bad because of it. I'm more of a make up kind of man and love seeing things done practical instead of doing it digital. I'm not saying that they should have dropped a real helicopter on them, but they could have done it a lot better (Raining Walkers not standing, that was pretty cool). Speaking up make-up over CG, I see that they are using CG for some of the mouth moving walkers. This makes me sad but I can deal with it.

That ending. It's leading to the big group leaving the prison and into danger. This is an interesting turn that I want to see more of. It's really what I wanted of the last season since there's really nothing more you can do with the prison (in my opinion) and taking in more people is still really dumb as they take up more room and use more suplse. I'm going to call it that they will lose someone just becuse they have too many people in the group.

It seems like they are trying to set up more character development for Rick and Beth. Rick had the woman kill herself and say "You don't come back." and Beth had her new boy friend die. I can see many interesting episodes revolving around these two. On a side note, Why Zach? They finally have a character with my name and they kill him off in the first episode. That's not fair.

Kill off Carl. Please? No one likes him. He's just being a brat and will get himself killed if not others. It's almost as bad as king Jeffry or what ever his name is from Game of Thrones.

Carol wants the kids to be able to defend themselves. Kick ass scenes to come.

All in all, I can't wait to see what they have in store.

Carl is just a kid.

Joffrey is something else entirely. That guy is Baby Hitler. This reminds me. Why don't we have a Game of Thrones thread?

Well, already one episode in and
, and I didn't want that guy with the glasses to die, he was Greg from Everybody Hates Chris.

Also, my fucking god, that woman with the fake Irish accent was pissing me off every step of the way, it was so forced and horrible, it just made all scenes with her God awful.

The helicopter and walkers on the roof was badly CGI'd in, not too bad, but you could see it was fake.

Also, why kill of Carl, I don't want more episode of Rick going back into the prison to kill more walkers, then act all depressed for the entire season.

At least they have some more characters to root for again, I swear the amount of people who I wanted to die, who didn't die, was annoying.

Anyone else here read the comics?

I did for a while. And then in Issue 100 they killed my favorite character.

I no longer read the comics. But I do have a hefty comic book collection that I should post in the collections thread. It's so big my book case won't fit it anymore. Lots of Walking Dead, Sandman, Locke and Key, Y: The Last Man, Unwritten and Chew. Notice something funny about my comic book collection?

No superheroes.

I don't have that many comics yet. The Walking Dead, Army of Darkness, and i'm actively looking (and failing) for Tank Girl.

I haven'y gotten to issue 100 yet, but I know what happens D:

I didn't mind this episode. I thought it was pretty decent, a few characters died, but no one really important.

The last part was sad, really sad. There is definitely someone in there who thinks that they should be dead, and wants to save themselves and thinks he is helping, don't know who that is yet, but it's probably going to be a main character or someone like that Black Guy who got trapped under a shelf in the 1st episode.

Also, the part where Rick gave Carl a gun, and also took his own .44 is good, as this will mean he's done trying to live a life, and just wants to protect people.

Oh, and I think him burning his old sheriff shirt means something as well.

Also, is it bad that I felt sad that the pigs died more than most of the cast of the walking dead?

This episode was not the best. It's for plot and that's about it. No real emotions were attached to it.

I think it was that I was not attached to any of the characters. When Patrick attacked the sleeping man, I was like, "Oh no. The walker got a dude. That's bad...... I think." I think I would be more shocked if he got Beth, or Rick, or someone who had some development past "I'm in bed." That's the problem with having a big group. You can't give everyone a character, so you can't care about them when they die. It's like making me care about all the Walkers they killed at the gate. The only one I really cared about dieing is the black chick at the end and I can't even remember her name.

Michonne has lost a baby in the past or counts Judith as her family and does not want to lose her. That's what I get from her reaction to not wanting to get close to her.

Carl has his gun back. We will see him use it to get his way this season. I'm going to call it right now.

Lastly, who is the black clocked person? I really have no idea who it could be and the reson I want to see the next few episodes.

I feel this last episode was a great build up for what's to come. There is a new enemy that can't just be tracked down and killed. It's even scarier because they don't know how it happens- air, water, soil, food? Something is killing people inside, where they are supposed to be safe.

My heart has never broken so hard as when Tyreese walked up with those flowers and a smile on his face. My heart dropped with his smile. I'm tearing up just thinking about it.

I think whoever killed his girlfriend and the other sick person is genuinely trying to protect others. It could have been one of the three medical staff (Hershel, Bob, other guy) but I think if it was one of them, they would have tried to overdose them before killing the brain and burning them, so as to give the least pain. There was WAY too much blood for that to have happened. They were brutally killed, which leads me to believe it wasn't one of them. Also, it had to be someone that was in that hallway when the girlfriend said "So-and-so is also coughing" or whatever. Those were the only people who knew. I think it was Sasha. I don't think she would do it to be cruel, but to protect her brother. That would lead to some incredible drama and storyline in the future.

I think we're getting Rick back. At least I hope so. Him and Daryl make an amazing team. I just hope he can hold himself together. I think they're all doing a better job at that, though (i'll get to that in a minute). Carl has grown up a lot. I hope they keep him like this, and don't turn him back into a little shit. I know people love to hate Carl, but just remember the type of world he's growing up in. He's supposed to be a kid.

Onto everyone being tougher- The first example we got of that was Beth in episode one of this season. Episode two brought us a lot more of it. When people voluntarily separated themselves because they could be sick, and did so without emotion. They're all looking out for each other, even if that means throwing themselves under the bus. Tyreese's girlfriend agreeing to quarantine herself, Rick telling Carl to stay away from him and Carl saying ok, and Rick saying they should both stay away from Judith and it not being a big deal. They're all growing as individuals.

Michonne and the baby.
Michonne and the baby.
Michonne and the baby.

I do not trust that little girl. I do not trust her around Carol, and I especially don't trust her with a knife. Even her little sister said she's not weak, just weird or whatever. Nothing good is going to come from that little demon. I think she's the one that's been feeding the walkers. She's the hipster of the group- "they're just different" (from episode one). And after they watched their father die, she wasn't even upset about it! She was upset about them killing the walker she named! NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTT OK.

I couldn't watch the piglet part, even though I know it's what had to be done. :(

Did I miss anything?
