Just a slight clarification on the Nomination process. Tell me what the award is, and who you wish to nominate for every individual award that you so choose in a PM. When doing so, I'll accept as many as three nominees per category, if you so desire to list so many people. Do not nominate yourself for an award. I will, on the 14th, reveal every award with all the nominees.
After these events, you can vote for three people in ranked order for each award (3=best, 1=worst). I will tally all responses there also. THe person with the highest score wins the award. In the case of a tie, a three person team of Moderators, who I will keep anonmonyous at this moment, will act as a Tie-breaker. Unlike the nominations, YOU CAN VOTE FOR YOURSELF. I am unsure of a date to cut off voting yet as we have quite a bit of time.
So, in short, start PMing me your list of awards that make the cut on not based on the list at the top of this page (pg 5.) and your nominees for said awards!

Just a thought but shouldn't it really be first, second, third place voting to keep things logical (not 3=best, 1=worst as you have it now)?

Well, here's my reason. Say there are 8 nominees for a single award. By giving three to one points to three people, one can simply add up the totals, since those who you don't vote for simply would get zero point. So, if u had candidates a in first place with three points, b in service with two and c in third with one, candidates d-h get zero points, and adding scores becomes simpler.
Suggestions to another method are greatly appreciated, however.

I think you might want to narrow down those award titles man, there are tonnes there... And I don't think we should be attacking people in our votes. Anything that will reflect negatively on someone I want to discourage you from doing. It's close enough to mass-flaming.

I put that across, and I'm assuming other have done so as well, in my PM saying which awards should be selected.
Definite no-no for the negative awards.

Well, as of right now, certain awards seem clearly on their way out, such as:
best in Stampede
Best Piece of Trivia Submitted (may still be a possibility if we clarify it has to deal with a trivia that has a thread proving it, but that is still a very wide range. It may just be to wide a range.)
Most Awards Awarded
Highest Warning Level
Best Simpsons Related Avatar
biggest douche in the universe
Best Post-Response
Best Shoe Size, just to piss off Matt a bit more.
Best Best
Best Best Bester
Best in Show
Best Trivia Submissions
And there are several other awards, that based on the feedback, I have received, are on the edge of going. So, if you feel any of these awards in particular deserve a better and should be awarded, PLEASE SAY WHY. If so, they are going to get cut. Shoot me a PM telling me which awards should be good and which won't, or post your choices here. I want to have the list of awards finalized, and I really want other people's specific feedback about their thoughts on specific awards to be able to say that.

Really, pretty much everything that isn't an award should be removed. Maybe some of the better jokes can be moved to their own "Jokes" category but for the actual awards, let's stick to the ones that make sense.
