The Deadpool movie is happening guys

Couldn't care less if it was R rated or not. in-fact slightly prefer PG-13 due to "Fuck" not sounding natural in his vocabulary and will most likely be overly shoehorned in like in the Deadpool game and feel awkward. More so worried about them continuing the X-men version of Deadpool

The whole reason Deadpool is being pushed for a R rating has less to do with language and all to do with the graphic violence he is known for. To fully do him justice you would need to have him be a R rated film.

For example, The Avengers would have been rated R for the
Don't know why I put spoiler tag on there, if no one has seen Avengers by now they probably are not gonna anytime soon but anyway.

So if they are gonna do a PG-13 Deadpool, they can't have too much blood, graphic violence, or horrible death scenes.

Oh I guess you're right. Because Deadpool could not exist as a mild version of himself. He would totally be ruin at that point. *sarcasm*

Seriously, I care very little about what it's rated because (shocker) fans over react if everything is not like the comics, TV show, video games, and everything he has ever been in ever and if the smallest thing is changed, everyone has a bitch fit. I have seen Deadpool from Ultimate Spiderman where he did not kill anyone (I think) and that was pretty cool.

He does alright in a non r-rated setting.

And my point for "PG-13 is not a bad idea for Deadpool."

Funny: Check
Violent: Check
PG-13: Check
Ruined Forever: I don't think so

I think that if we did get an R rating, it would be more swearing, blood, and gore and not as much silly antics that most people know him for.

Yeah, last thing we want is a gritty reboot of a guy who wears a one piece masked costume to fight people.

That already happened with Deadpool though. X-Men Origins.

I can handle with a Pg13 rating deadpool. I just hope that they manage to get some clever fourth wall jokes making fun of the censorship.

Sorry, I came across a bit douchey there. I was mostly trying to explain my speculation on why the studio has such a hard on for PG-13 rating.

Really as long as Deadpool is funny, breaks the 4th wall and acts awesomely insane along with cool action scenes I'd be happy.

I'd prefer a R rated blood bath of a movie too. Like I said before, I'm hoping they film it as an R rated film but release it theatrically for PG-13 so the studio can have its silly stupid way and I can eventually have it my awesome way. Everyone wins.

I'm hoping for silly things like this to happen:

I like Bob and Bill. They should both get cameos.

Yeah, something on the lines of that could work. Like just before Deadpool kills someone, he turns to the audience and says 'Dont you wish you could see this? Too bad you cant! Blame the censorship on their behalf for ruining the fun for you and me!'.

I'm actually in agreement. I've never read the comics of his but the few times I've seen him in other media (Justice League Unlimited, Smallville, I think Young Justice but not sure) he was great and I wanted more.

So yes to Booster Gold!

You know what they should do? Open the movie with the Deadpool from the X-Men Origins movie, have the audience believe the movie's about him and then have the actual Deadpool kill him off.
