I haven't been able to impregnate my sims with an alien yet, and with the unicorn, befriend it, and use it as a race horse. If you have a foal with it, the baby will be a unicorn baby, and can be sold for a lot of money.
Yeah, i'm in the process of getting it to join the household. It's a lengthy process. All while going to China to do all the adventures there.

I'm pretty sure this one is solid black. It could be dark brown. Hard to tell because it was raining and at night. But I think it's black.
I saw pictures online of a white one with a hot pink mane. I want that one so bad.

Once you get one, you can edit it like you normally would. Random question, do you use testing cheats for your sims?

Sweet, thanks!
HELL YES. I use all kinds of cheats- after testingcheats, I give my Sims an unusable amount of money, and I make needs static, then I just go nuts with gameplay.
Unless I play a legacy, which is super rare because I usually end up getting bored.

I always try legacy, but will use testingcheats and just keep making them happy :P
Eventually my garden and wine cellar make the game lag heaps, and I end up quitting :c

My game has been lagging, but I have almost every single EP and SP (i'm missing one SP- Diesel, which I don't want, and on place- Monte Vista I think), plus The Sims 2 and The Sims, all EPs and SPs for those, trial version of WoW, plus other, regular stuff all on a laptop.

If you want a good gaming computer, don't go off and buy it, buy individual parts and put it together yourself (may need someone to help you if you are unsure on how to do it)
I spent $1000 on my computer, which includes $100 speakers, and a $300 monitor, meaning the actual computer cost me $600 to make. A computer in store that was worse than mine was being cold for about $4000, so you can easily see which is better to go with.
If you lived in Australia, and close to me, I could easily help you purchase the parts and make one for you, all you need to tell me is what sort of computer you would prefer. My motherboard was meant to have 6 ram stick slots, but they just sold out, so I went for the better one, yet with only 2 ram stick slots (kicking myself over that) so at the moment, I have 16GB of ram.
I used to use my laptop, but it started overheating so I got my computer. It kind of sucks cause I've lent out my sims games in the past, and I have now used up the 5 computer installations that I was allowed :c

Well, i'm out here in Texas, so I don't think I can call you up haha. Yeah I know nothing about computers anymore. I used to know everything- computers and the internet starting getting big as I hit high school. But in the past few years things have just gotten out of hand with technology.
It still works pretty ok. If I can save the money, I might either get a second laptop for regular stuff (internet, pictures, documents, etc.) or a something with a shit ton of memory (lap or desk) for strictly games. But for now it's working alright.
If you're good with computers, you might be able to answer a few questions-
1- I record with the in-game video tool in The Sims 3, but there is no sound. Did I mess something up or is that how it is?
2- If that's just how it is, is there a way to record myself playing with an outside program? (I don't need to record everything, just random little things like i've posted)
If you can help with either of those that would be awesome. If not, that's cool. :)

1- I am pretty sure it doesn't record sound. Last time I played was long ago so I may be wrong.
2- In terms of good recording programs I think Bandicam is a really good program. Only problem is that it will show at the top Bandicam.com on your recorded video.

There is a way to record sound from your computer. On Windows 7 (shall assume you are running it) In the task bar on the bottom right, right click the speaker option, and choose recording devices. Under the recording tab, right click anywhere and click 'show disabled devices' and one called 'Stereo Mix' will appear. Right click it, and enable it. If you want, you can also make it your default one. Now when you record something on your computer, it should record sound as well.

I'll give it a try when I get home.
