Ya'll need to see The Babadook. Yes, it is absolutely over-hyped; let's get that out of the way. This movie will not give you nightmares but it's got a really interesting story. It's like an episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark? aimed at adults. There's no blood/gore, but I love their idea for a monster.

I'm a sucker for a good monster movie. Be it Freddy Krueger, Frankensin's monster, anything inbetween. Hearing that it's like "Are You Afraid of the Dark? the Movie" and seeing the trailer:
Is this on Netflix?

According to the Babadook Facebook page it should be. I was naughty and watched it illegally since my local theater won't take unrated movies. I bought the Blu-ray and pre-ordered the book to make up for it, though!

It really is awful. That signature is going to give me nightmares.
Anyway, I just watched Elysium and Long Kiss Goodnight. Surprisingly good movies both of them.

I saw it. It was pretty fun. Even though I wasn't a fan of the show, it had some pretty creative moments in the movie. You'd get a few laughs out of it.

You don't watch Mad Max for the plot.
If you want to, go right on ahead. They're all fun movies, just don't be pressured into it.

I tryed watching the movies one time, but I just coudn't get Beyond Thunderdome
Seriously, I have never seen any of them and know nothing of them aside from the Thunderdome joke and that Ransik (Vernon Wells) is in the second movie.

First one is very optional, on the account of it being more of an origin story and while the action scenes are good, the narrative slows down the movie. Also despite the fact that the mad max films take place in a post apocalyptic world, the first doesn't feel like one.
The Second movie is worthy of your while and it Is the best of the bunch.
Never seen the third one because I never had the chance to see it.
Any who, the original mad max(s) has that 60s black and white cowboy film feel to it, so if you enjoy that kind of shiz, then have a hardy time with those mad max films

In preparation for the new movie coming out in 2017, my brother has bought both Power Ranger movies. The first movie is just as dumb as I remember it being, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
