It reminded me of this video and how none of these minigames are in Ultimate. That's a shame.

BTW none of these minigames are officially in Melee. These are mods.

Tune-in on 10/5 at 7am PT for the reveal presentation of the final Super #SmashBrosUltimate DLC fighter with Director Masahiro Sakurai. The fighter’s release date and final Mii Fighter costumes will also be revealed!

The announcement comes out on the same day as the Nickelodeon Smash game, and seeing the reactions of smash players is pretty funny. They really don't like Nintendo(can't blame them) and now they are making it out that they can only choose one or the other. As if it even matters because IF they reveal that the character comes out on the same day of it's reveal, it's pretty much predicable what the outcome will be. These spineless smashtubers pumping out these generic videos about the latest character and the typical BS that these dedicated smash players always pull when a character comes out, sucking at the tit of Nintendo. Though this solely depends on what the character is in question but the odds are pretty high that the Nickelodeon game will be eclipse. Shame as it is trying to becomes it's own thing and I will always support any game that lets me play as Ren & Stimpy.

Yeah, I was also going to comment on how this announcement is gonna be made on the same day as Nicklodeon All-Stars Brawl. You beat me to it.

I don't know if the dates matching up was intenional on Nintendo's part or not. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't.

Man, to believe Samus Aran spent four games being the sole playable representative of the Metroid series in Smash. It wasn't until Ultimate that she finally got some company.

Yes, I know Captain Falcon was also (and still is) alone but Metroid is the bigger franchise. Captain Falcon is more famous than his home series at this point (and it was all thanks to Smash). I call this the Morrigan effect, named after Morrigan Aesland from crossover land Darkstalkers.

EDIT: I've seen a few people believe that the last character is gonna be the Chozo Warrior from Metroid Dread. It would match the pattern of how all the Nintendo DLC characters in this game are characters who debuted on the Switch. Not to mention of how the characters of both season passes were decided beforehand and Nintendo would have most likely told Sakurai about Metroid Dread and the Chozo Warrior before they revealed it to the public.

Is the Bird Dude actually getting in? Nobody knows for certain. In any case, we are gonna find out pretty soon.

I just realized Megalovania is probably the first and only song thats from a fan game thats will ever be in Smash.

For those who don't know, Megalovania doesn't come from Undertale. It comes from the EarthBound Halloween Hack by Toby Fox.

Heyo! this one is a tiny bit silly, I must admit.
I just felt like trying my hand at applying the same treatment Megalovania got from being in Smash Ultimate to the Halloween Hack edition of Megalovania! So you could consider this an alternate timeline version of Megalovania where Varik got in instead of Sans. ;B

The poorly edited Marth render made to look a bit like Varik was done by me because I couldnt find any 3D Varik models.

EDIT 2: Varik is not an original character created by Toby Fox. He comes from a game called Brandish.

It's Sora from Kingdom Hearts! The last character is Sora from Kingdom Hearts!

I honestly didn't think he was gonna make it because of Disney, but he did. I'm impressed.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, Sakurai confirmed Sora was the most requested character of the Smash Ballot.

EDIT 4: I like how they brought back the trophies for this trailer. I thought they got completely rid of them in Ultimate. Also, you know how there are people who thought those were Amiibos instead of trophies? You can tell Ultimate was their first Smash game. No, not all of them are kids.

I've counted how many guest characters this game currently has and the result is 17 guest characters. For comparison, Smash 64 had a total roster of 12 characters. And Melee had a total of 26 characters.

Wheter or not you think the Smash series has enough guest characters is up to you.

Smash Ultimate has 18 guest characters now. Yes, I'm counting Bayonetta among those 18.
