Background - In 2012, France decided to create 12 new overseas Members of Parliament to represent French people living abroad. Being in Canada, I'm in the 1st overseas constituency (USA/Canada). Last year, we voted like everyone else, but there were some funding irregularities with the candidate who won. Their victory was repealed, and so we've had to vote again in by-elections.

All that to say that thanks to internet voting, I just cast my vote without leaving the comfort my bed - Awww yes !
