This song is so good.

That song actually got it's tart as a cover of a big famous 70s hit that got more and more warped until it really couldn't be called a cover anymore. Here's what was originally meant to be:

Somehow I don't think that's true, yes the song titles are similar with the whole "sail" topic, but the meanings of the songs and lyrics are nothing the same, while the Styx song is about moving forward, the AWOLNATION song is about "sailing away from your problems", unless you can show me a good reference for this info, or the steps of the distortion, it's just way to far gone for me to believe. Come Sail Away is a good song though.

I remember hearing about it in an interview on a radio show. They were originally just covering the song, then it became let's update the song, then it became let's just write our OWN song in the vein of Come Sail Away. It's kinda funny.
