I have to do a lot of research but the only thing that isn't blocked for some reason or another without question is wikipedia and people usually don't like it as a source. Heck, its a highschool, and people aren't allowed to edit things on wikis because wikipedia blocks US.
I'm not entirely sure myself. Being out of high school at lest 3 years now, I forgot some of the sites that disabled the blocks or how to find them. Since the school's security is always looking for "inappropriate" sites, sites that are cheating based, and entertainment sites (some of the blocks were random as hell, so some sites were left up while others like it were blocked), the sites that turned off the blocks were always getting blocked themselves. This would mean that more and more had to be made regularly, so even if I remembered them, they would most likely be blocked.
Thanks anyway. Its awfully annoying because they actually monitor autistic kid activity or something because I managed to go on the fallout and Chrono Wikis ONCE. Didn't help that I was looking for quotes for my design class.
I'm not sure if this will work for you but at my school we always just downloaded and installed FireFox because it allowed us to access the settings and turn off the proxy which is what they use to block sites. If you can access the settings (under tools click internet options for IE, which I can almost guarantee your school uses) go to your proxy settings and un-check the "use a proxy server for your LAN" box. (To get to that, go to the connections tab on the internet properties/options window and click LAN settings.)
I'll certainly try to remember that.
