I smell something fishy. There has to be a catch, like only the costumes can be bought or the super moves have to be downloaded or something stupid. Capcom must have a better hand then what they are telling us about.
Actually, if you read the article, it does say you can buy Alex with the fight money you earn just by playing through the story chapters.
That and the fact that the (real) story mode is a free update.
Come on, now. Capcom learned from their mistakes! Are we still stuck in the year 2012? I thought it was ov...wait....I figured it out, we are stuck in a endless loop. Every year is just 2012; every time the year ends, the time resets over and over again!
Edit: but in all seriousness, Capcom is actually learning from their mistakes. I mean... Did you play Strider? Did you play Resident Evil Revelations 1 & 2? Did you play Dragon's Dogma? How about Devil may Cry 4 Special Edition? The Resident Evil HD Remake? Ducktales Remastered? Monster Hunter 4 perhaps?
Edit 2: I'm not sure about anybody else, but I really do find it hilarious how around the time Capcom stopped making a bunch of stupid decisions, Konami immediately picked up the torch for them.
