¹ As @Cestus already noted, this (and Mark's new design) references OnePunch-Man's Puri-puri Prisoner, constantly flirting with handsome men.

Just to add a minor blunder, I checked Final Fight 2 for Eliot's story... And, in the original game, the gatekeeper out of the Hong Kong's port warehouse was actually Elias. Eliot attacked you from behind only after you had already beaten Elias.

Oh yeah, before any of you say "but FF2 came out YEARS before One Punch Man was a thing!", keep in mind that Mark was always like this, they just decided to pump that aspect of his character up to eleven and used the Puri-puri prisioner as a influence for that.
Well, either that or the majority of the details about these characters (goons for a beat-em-up game) were created just now specifically for these profiles.
