So, what do you think of G and Sagat's characters stories?
G character story: eh. They pretty much revealed nothing outside of his "social media" side. I am going to assume they showed next to nothing about him because they are saving it for later (second general story mode, perphas?).
Oh, and contrary to what Menat said The Fool card in the tarot desk does not stand for someone with low intelligence, but rather someone with infinite potential or a "wildcard". This mistake isn't really surprising giving how inexpirienced Menat is, but still.
EDIT: here's another thing. Menat never said she fought the Dictador in the Japanese version.
Sagat's character story: his story was ok. It was interesting to see Sagat finally understanding all the pain the Satsui no hado has brought to Ryu's life. Hopefully this serves as a build-up for a Final Fight (heh) between Ryu and Sagat. I'll like to see their rivarly getting the close-up it deserves.
Oh, and the reason why Sagat was struggling with the SNH (even if it was for a very brief moment) was because the type of Ki he uses is the Hado energy, the same one used by the Ansatsuken users like Ryu and Ken (even thought Sagat is a Muay Thai fighter). His Tiger Shot in particular is described in older material as a Thai-styled Hadoken.
"regular" Hado, Satsui no Hado, Soul Power, Psycho Power... It all comes from the same source: Ki. The difference is how you harness said energy.
