Desk decided to edit some Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown footage to make it look like an martial arts movie. Check it out!

Desk Wrote:Virtua Fighter is an incredible looking game and I don't think anything else comes this close to looking like an actual martial arts movie. Not just the awesome looking throws and hit grabs but the space dependant stuff that includes the characters running up or hitting the opponent into walls.
This video was over 40 hours work. Everything was done using 2 PS4 controllers at the same time except for one clip which was done on an Arcade stick + 1 PS4 controller.
To give you an idea of why this was such a lot of work we can take a look at the very beginning of the very first clip... 1P hits forward+P then back at the same time 2P whiffs a standing P, 1P hits kick to complete the move and then P+G as it connects. 2P then has to hit PKG to quick rise at the same time 1P dashes forward. This is immediately followed by 1P inputting back+PK at the same moment that 2P throws out another P which is countered, then quickly hits PKG again to quick rise. That entire sequence lasts for less than 4 seconds but took about an hour to choreograph and learn to perform on 2 controllers. You might also notice that later in the Akira vs Aoi sequence and at many other points in the video, one of the players will dash/dodge during the down time while waiting for the other player to get off the ground. It's things like this that add a huge amount of time to the project because of the time/effort it takes to learn to do this with 2 controllers at once but I do think they add a great deal to the 'feel' of the video.
