Remenber Red Earth / Warzard? That CPS3 fighting game that Capcom REFUSES to port? Yeah, I never understood that. So many arcade compilations or whatever yet Capcom never bothered to port it? Even thought the game has a heavy emphasis on single player content? What's up with that?
I've seen people suggest that if Darkstalkers 4 ever becomes a thing, they might as well make a crossover with Red Earth / Warzard because of how well those two series fit with each other (for example, I've seen people who erroneously thought that Tessa / Tabasa was a Darkstalkers character. So there's that). Maybe even take a step further and make those two series share the same universe. Just say that the events of Red Earth / Warzard took place on Mars or something. Matter of fact, an official crossover manga titled Maleficarum was released in 1997.
Now, you are probably asking if I do support this idea. My answer is "I wouldn't mind if it happened".
"Why would people think that Tessa is a Darkstalkers character? Did she appear in other games besides Red Earth?" - Yeah, she was playable in Super Gem Fighter: Mini Mix and SVC Chaos. She's not the only Warzard character to appear in other video games, mind you.
