Then they just go and say it was a "failure" even though it made the US top charts on PSN, thus making the chances we'll ever see Darkstalkers 4 quite slim.
I do agree though, the fanbases are a big problem in themselves. I swear, even if we had gotten some Megaman game recently they would still propably have complained about some aspect of it and determed it as "shit", like a lot of ignorant people seemed to do with DmC.
But we haven't had any sales figures from Darkstalkers Resurrection. Being one of the top best selling games on PSN might mean that it still sold poorly.
Apparently(apparently being the keyword word) Darkstalkers sold 22K on PSN/XBLA combined; which is a huge failure. Again, being the seventh best doesn't mean you made millions, it means you sold more than the others but the figures are still crap. It's a smart move by Capcom to not make a new game(which still isn't confirmed).
I'm on your side with "where is Breathe of Fire 3 and a new Rival Schools"? But I understand companies business strategies at times. It's a small market that won't give the company back the money it took to produce it. I still think they should give us a new Darkstalkers though... and localise ME2.... and stop with the effing DLC BS.
