Thor: The Dark World *Spoilers - you have been warned!*
#2
Okay, Thor has been out long enough for me to actually start talking about it more.

I loved that Loki had more to do in this beyond being an evil bad guy. Now he was a bad guy who had to be giving a little bit more of a leash. Thor needed him to find a way off of Asgard without using the normal channels and in the process of Thor asking him for help, we see that he is still sympathetic. He was shown masking his pain of losing the only person he has known as his mother. We also learn that it was her who showed him all of his magic and illusion tricks.

To then also have a big fake out at the end where you find out not only did he not get killed helping Thor against the bad guy, but that he may have either killed Odin or possibly had him captured and hidden else where.

Also the end credit scene that not only sets up Thanos with the mention of the Infinity Stones but also Guardians of the Galaxy since they went to see The Collector who is also a character in said film.

Stories within stories within stories. Like a Russian Nesting Doll you keep finding tiny surprises each time.
