The majority of Dreamcast's can play burned discs. If you can't currently afford to play Shenmue no one would hate you for burning the discs and playing them.

I get you want to own the game to play them on the DC, but if you can't afford them just burn them. I did that for many games back in the day, I still have them around as well.

I know it can, and I know I can. But I didn't pay good money for a Dreamcast to not have the original games.
