So is there anything we could possibly do to stop them?

The only thing I can think of is to get big shots to call out the flaws on google for their actions. Google doesn't listen to the second class beings, they only listen to big shots. So if we can get a ton(like a lot of people) like the co creator of youtube to call out on Google. The voice of common sense will be heard.

Already happened. At least Capcom, Blizzard, Ubisoft and Deep Silver have given their support to the people who have been screwed over by this. Still, google is not budging.

Also, the co-creator of YT has already called google on their BS. That amounted to nothing.

The only words google is willing to hear are "Yes, we accept your will and nothing more."

^It has to be bigger than companies like Capcom and Ubisoft. It has to apply to other studios(like Disney, Warner Bros, MGM, hell even mockbuster companies) need to speak out against this matter.

No, those are competitors. If you really want to hurt google, hurt their wallet and offer competition. The problem with Youtube is that there isn't a big enough alternative that people seem to care about due to the all encompassing nature of video browsing website.

Or we could always go to the google headquarters and kidnap the CEO until they give us what we want.

^It sounds a bit messy, but who in the world is willing to do that to get the old youtube back?

How's this for competition? DYKG is on it apparently. I literally just found out about the site so I don't know if it counts though.

A lot of youtubers are changing to Twitch. Although I don't think Twitch is used more than Youtube.

Depends, the two sites seem to have very different viewers so I can't really compare.

A little birdie told me this on tumblr, he/she didn't have a source(since it was an anonymous user)

“Beginning in early January, newly-uploaded videos will
occasionally go through a process called monetization review. This
review is performed by YouTube, and will determine if your content is in
compliance with YouTube’s current terms of use and copyright
standards.”

Okay. I'm gonna call it now. We might as well call youtube Jewtube.

Jewtube? What's that supposed to mean?

You know the stereotype of jewish people being greedy? Google/youtube is being greedy to the point where they make jewish(not all of them, just the greedy ones) people that are greedy look like saints. Hence why its called Jewtube.

Nah man, that's not alright. I'm pretty pissed when people label things they don't like as "autistic" or "retarded", "occult", etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.
You know other people are too when their beliefs or lives are used to negatively characterize something else.
