DS Game Titles (Theory?)

(Don't know if this is true or not, but it seemed like more than a coincidence to me.)
Some games on the DS used words that started with D&S so when the game is abbreviated, DS would be in the title.
Examples:
Resident Evil: Deadly Silence
Advance Wars: Dual Strike
Lunar: Dragon Song
Betty Boop's Double Shift
Bleach: Dark Souls
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
Dark Spire
Dorabase: Double Sequence
Full Metal Alchemist: Dual Sympathy
Guilty Gear: Dust Strikers
Mage Knight: Destiny's Solider
Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword
Peggle: Dual Shot
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 1 and 2
Tenchu: Dark Secret

You guys think this is just a stectch, or if it was intentional?

I thought that was kinda obvious. To me, is was always something that they did to show off what system it was on, kinda like Super Mario World on the SNES and Super Mario 64 on the N64.

I thought of that was more like "Diddy Kong Racing DS" or "Super Mario 64 DS." This was them actually using two words that start with D and S to create DS in the abbreviation, rather than just using "DS". I see where you're coming from, and that it was meant to label what system the game is on.

Ah, I only really realized it with the ones that said dual in them, as in 2.

They do it with 3DS titles too. For example, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.

They made "Super" *everything* in the SNES, *Whatever* "64" in the N64, and *Stuff* Advance in the GBA, the DS is the same thing.
