I believe the game was scrapped 3 times. The final version we got was started in 2007, finished in 2009, and then final polishing and porting to other consoles pushed it into 2011.
On topic:
I've always wanted a Zelda JRPG, where Link can recruit other members, monsters, and maybe even other Links. Maybe even Mario RPG it and have Ganon be a party member.

Zelda games are pretty much perfect for an RPG. You have the fantasy swords and magic, different races to pick from, a huge land with various forms of environment (sand, mountain, water, snow etc) that'd make for a perfect Zelda RPG or even an MMORPG.

That's the kinda game the fans wold dry ruined forever about. I like it. It would be a great game to expand on the land a bit more insted of the history. Have a Goron, Zora, Poe, Twili, Sheikah, and Fariy, and then have Ganon as the optional Gerudo party member. Maybe expand on the idea of Majora's Mask (I.E, this evil spiret locked in a prision for thousands of years).

An MMORPG may be pushing it a little bit. I don't want to see another game where "there can only be one," but there can be multiple "Ones."

I'd love a Zelda JRPG, as long as it has a TON of puzzles. BECAUSE I WANT MY BRAIN CONFUSED WHILE PLAYING A LoZ GAME, DAGGON IT. (That's seriously by favorite part of Legend of Zelda games, the puzzles.)

Completely forgot to post this on Saturday.
So on Friday I went to Wembley SSE Arena to see Zelda: Symphony of the Goddess with 2 other friends. It was fucking amazing.

They've made another one. And they've managed to make Navi attractive. One of my online friends worked on this did some clean-up on here.
