Strange happening in the land
#31
So guys, if any of you remember Phoenix Wright, specifically case 1-4. Phoenix Wright
and

Well, something really interesting happened related to this.

I thought it would be better for it to be here than World News, since it's nothing big, but something interesting.

1. We have a grocery store that's open 24/7. A lady was there very late after work and, since it was cold, she left her car open and running in the parking lot. On that same night a guy with mental problems escaped from a group home, stole that car, and crashed it.

2. Two people from North Dakota were loitering outside of a person's house. That person understandably got nervous and called the cops. Those two people shot at the cop, he shot back, and they fled. They were found later on dead after committing suicide.

3. The Subway was robbed by gunpoint. A persona was tied up and thrown in a closet.

4. One of the local vet clinics was robbed for the drugs.
Is it bad that my first thought was druggies after hearing about bad shots and fast food robbing? The clinic thing didn't help either.
It usually is druggies, sadly. :/
But no, its not bad that you thought that I guess.

So, we had a guy pass out Saturday at work (I've been doing his job since he's out). His job is inspecting the boats before giving them final approval to ship. So, when he passed out, he fell under the boat trailer and apparently several people stepped over him thinking he was simply inspecting the bottom of the boat. I wonder if they would allow me to watch the footage? Even management laughs at his poor luck of getting walked over.

The ice? You should see all the snow we have here. It's a real pleasure to drive a car in these conditions.

I couldn't imagine. There's literally ice falling from the sky here (not snow or hail). It's extremely rare around these parts.

It's raining ice. That's what's happening.

I DON'T UNDERSTAND.

"Hasn't this guy been inspecting the same part of the ship for the past eight hours ?"
"Yeah. He's just reaaaaally meticulous."

Ah, ice storms. We get a few every winter here in southern Ohio. I remember 10 years ago we had a very severe one. Always worse than snow. Everything was covered in 6+ inches of ice. Just due to the weight of it, you could stand on it without even leaving a foot print. Hundreds of trees and power lines were downed. It took 2 weeks for them to get the electric turned back at my house, which was pretty good compared to a lot of others. I knew some at school that were without any power for 6 weeks just due to how extensive the damage everywhere was. Only official state of emergency I've ever lived through. School was out for a week only, btw. If the school had power still. One major state route that connected my part of Ohio to Kentucky was closed for over 2 months because they had to re-build half the road.

So, one of my friends had his car flattened by a tree yesterday from all the ice. There were a lot of dead trees now that I think about it.
