Honestly, the funniest part about this thing to me is when they navigate menus. Accidentally releasing pokemon, buying stuff, using random moves or items in battle, it's more interesting to me than watching the little dude walk around in circles.

Since this is a modified version does that mean Pokemon don't need to be traded in order to evolve? If so, they really should start using that Ghastly.

I think the only real alteration is removing the step count in Safari Zone. For the rest it's a straight up ROM

It's the 151 ROM hack, meaning every single creture from the first gen is obtainable. The Safari Zone hack was done later on to help the players.

I looked at the list of Pokemon locations for this Rom hack and I'm shocked their team is this crappy when so many good Pokemon are around right at the start. You'd think the majority would keep Red in those areas to try and catch better Pokemon.

I'm thinking they'll end up going through the Elite 4 a ridiculous number of times until their team levels up so much that even the fact most of them suck won't matter.
