Mario 3 is not the best thing ever in hindsight.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a lazy cash-in to one of the best games ever.

I cannot stand gen 1 of Pokémon anymore.
I have not played a single Final Fantasy game
Sonic 1 is dated.

Ok guys, confession time.

Here is the honest truth:
I have played Devil May Cry, then I played DMC (the reboot) and...I LOVED IT!

I really have no idea why there is so much hate for the reboot; the game play is freakin fun as hell, Dante and Vergil are great and I love the updates made to them, I loved the modernization of Mundus, Kat is a great character to have. I really think 98% of the people who complain about it have never actually played it and are basing their ill-placed hate off of the fact that Dante doesn't have white hair -.- "not in a million years"

I really hope the company can just ignore the masses and make a sequel

I'm sure I will get flame after flame or be called "troll" or "stupid" but I felt I had to share.

I made this point before about how generally stupid and pathetic gamers are these days. The main problem came from the fact that didn't like the way Dante looked, which then turned into over exaggerated hate towards the game in general. The combat mechanics don't even come close to what DMC4 achieved but it still pretty damn indepth, especially with Vergil. Nearly every point I found wrong with DmC is also in the previous DMC titles and even worse in some cases, but those aren't ever acknowledged. A few people and I from the DMC forums even made videos proving most people wrong(But were obviously given excuses for).
DmC being slower is apparently bad despite the fact most people who play DMC are just button mashers anyway.


DmC had some really damn good ideas that flexed what the Unreal Engine could do if used on a more creative side. But none of it matters when you don't like the main character.
Oh well, gamers today are stupid.

I can play Fire Red or Leaf Green, but jeez I can't play the original Red and Blue unless I'm going to use an emulator. The game moves so slow and it's hard to go back when you don't have running shoes.

To be honest the Call of Duty hate is getting out of hand.

I don't like COD at all myself, but the people going around claiming that their tastes are perfect and that anyone who disagrees with them probably likes COD and therefore "Isn't a real gamer" are getting really obnoxious.

FFVII is overrated as hell.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great game. Buuuutttt...I think there are other titles that deserve more praise.

My favorite RPG of all time is Final Fantasy IX, and it doesn't have nearly half the fan base or recognition of FF7. It has no spin-off titles, no third playable character in Dissidia, Vivi only gets 2 lines on Kingdom Hearts, no movie, no sequel game. I know there are other FF titles with no recognition either, and that's really a shame. FFIV is great, and atleast they re-made it for the DS and then put the After Years out few years later. FF8 doesn't get these things either, but at least you can play as Laguna in Dissidia.

P.S. Did not cry when Aeris died

Kingdom Hearts is one of my favorite franchises of all time, but I've never gotten past one of the first worlds in the original game, and I have no intention of doing so. That game controls like shit.
It's weird because Kingdom Hearts 2 is one of my top five favorite games ever made, but I seriously fucking hate the first one.

I never tried the second one becuz I absolutely hated KH1. I got stuck in alice in the wonderland planet for nearly 2 hours until I got the hang of the combat. But the game storyline is beautiful though. I'm looking forward to KH3 too.

While I don't hate KH1, I agree that KH2 is better in every aspect. I never actually beat the first one, because Chernobog and Ansem frustrated me >_<

Honestly, I realllllyyyyy hope KH3 wraps it all up and the whole Kingdom Hearts franchise is done. I think they honestly made too many games with little to no point (with KH2 and BBS the exception of course). Just kinda seems like they made the story up as they went and contradicted themselves quite a bit. If you've played DDD you probably know what I mean >>

I agree with you. Most people go on and on about how FF7 is the best Final Fantasy game, but there is much better. What makes it better than the others? Cloud? Leion and Lightning are better. Aeris's death? You mean the thing that is so spoiled that I have not played the game and it was the first thing I knew of the game. The story? FF5 & 6 is way better. Sephiroth as a villain? Hahahahahaha.... wait your serious. Yea lets have a long hair pretty boy go on and on about his mother. The Emperor is a better villain. Ultimecia is a better villain. Garland is a better villain and he was missing for most of the game. You know what? He's not even the main antagonist. Jenova is. Sephiroth may have been the only one of the two fought, but without Jenova, Sephiroth would not be there.

Hell you want to know the only charicter that I find still cool? Zack. He is still a twist to the people who have not played the game. When is the last time you heard "Zack is such a great character" or "Zack is cloud's personality"? Yea, without Zack, Cloud would be a wimp and weak(er) character. He also get bonus points for a cool name.

P.S. Tifa > Aerith. Suck it Fan Boys.

I agree! Zack is such a man <3 Sephiroth as a villain is very annoying, but (un)fortunately he's sexy. Damn you leather straps, and muscles with long silver hair >> AHEM!

As far as FF villians go, I think Kefka is one of the best. He's just so fucking crazy you can't help but be entertained/creeped out. Everyone complains Kuja is a word that rhymes with "maggot", but I really enjoyed him; he was very smart about his plans to take over the world.

Binding of Issac is not fun, at all.

Even though I complain about how they keep rehashing the Super Mario Bros games and it feels soulless, I still actually have fun playing them.

I still think Wrestling games are really fun.

I have no problem calling Visual Novels video games. That being said, I have played adult visual novels before and never felt dirty from them as I love the stories.

My least favorite Zelda games are the first two.
