At the Movies!
I... I actually hated The Book of Life. From, like, start to finish.

I guess I just need to stick with foreign animated films from now on and accept I'm too old to see American ones anymore. The kids nowadays aren't like the ones in 90s through early 2000s. Now it has to be poop/pee jokes, nonstop action, and cookie cutter characters with zero depth to draw an audience.

Put an American kid in from of Ernest and Celeste and I guarantee they'll be crying about being bored.

Oooh, sad face :(

I'll probably wait till Netflix has it and watch it then before deciding whether to buy it or not.

Sorry you didn't enjoy it. I know you were really looking forward to that.

I can't even like what you said Hex. Its actually saddening that you didnt like it. Its way different from most animated features these days. You made my night a sad one. :(

I don't post for likes; I post to share what I think. The animation was outstanding and showed how lazy other companies are when they use 3D animation, but there was nothing else here. Stories like this have been done plenty of times, the humor just pandered to kids, and the characters had nothing to them. All companies are doing now is recycling old ideas. And it works.

In other news, I saw Wreck-It Ralph with my niece and nephew the other day. I'm really really sad. This was one of those movie that I was really looking forward to see but no one would really see it with me or at the lest drive me to see it. After seeing it, I see how much I was missing. If The Book of Life is as bad as Hes says, this movie shows that there is still hope. My new 2nd favrate Disney movie (Nightmare Before Christmas is still my favorite).

George Romero and his son Cameron Romero are planning to make a new zombie film set in the Dead universe called Origins. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/origi...ombie-film

Surprisingly, this movie would finally answer the decades old question: Where did the virus originate?

I forgot to mention one thing about The Book Of life. It has a skeleton war in it.

About damn time that this question gets answered. I hope that this is a well thought out execution. OH and mass. A proper MLP FIM movie has been announced for the big screen, its going to be animated.

I hope the animation is improved for theatrical terms, it would be a dumb move if they pulled on CG for it. Im gonna play the waiting game on this one.

Knowing only as much as people on the internet has told me and the handful of episodes I have watched with my niece, I think the series would do good as a movie.... well better than Bratz Babys anyway. I kinda want it to focus around Priness Luna just to see them do something with her agien.

Also, am I the only straight man that really wants to see the Jem movie? It sounds like a bad idea and I want to see if it will crash and burn like Josie and the Pussycats.

Umbrella Corp., of course. One of the main guys in it is probably James Marcus.

Trading Places is a very good film, saw it a few weeks back.

Gotta get back into a film hype, I just hate sitting still watching something for too long.

I reeeeally hope they have a good explanation for it. I mean, it's been almost 50 years since Night of the Living Dead started it all. Having a question answered that has been left hanging for all this time shouldn't be just quickly explained like "Oh, it was bad Mexican food. Moving on."

As for the MLP movie, I read about that on EQD. That's gonna be interesting. I just watched Rainbow Rocks and it was actually a really good film. Right now I'm mostly just waiting for season 5.

You and propably the guy who keeps putting Jem in AMV Hell :D

Btw. They've used Luna quite a bit in the comics. Those are some of the better stories in those.
