Well, I remenber an scene where were one of the thieves asked "have you guys slept with a ugly woman?". Dude had a thick accent as well.

Wild guessing: I think the holiday in which the movie takes place was the Day of the Dead.

I cant seem to find anything about the movie you're looking for. Google isn't helping on the manner. Do you remember any other quotes from the movie? Normally movies tend to show themselves on Google if you remember a quote from it.

Changing gears. I saw Batman and Harley Quinn on the big screen tonight. Just got back from seeing it. I had fun seeing it. There were a ton of laughs from the audience.

Well, I tried about 5 different quotes and I couldn't find anything.... I'm not giving up, thought. I'll keep looking from time to time.

They did not have this movie in the theatre. Ended up watching Spider-Man Homecoming. It was pretty good, but the theatre experience was pretty bad, the guys right next to us were using their phones for the majority of the movie. Still had fun though.

Has anyone watched the '2001: A Space Odyssey' sequel called '2010: The Year We Make Contact'?

It is any good?

I know I'm six days late, but happy 10th anniversary to Superbad!

I wasn't aware that they made a sequel to one of Kubrick's best films. I haven't seen it(or the Space Odyssey).

During the production of Space Odyssey Kubrick and British science fiction author Sir Arthur C. Clarke wrote down their ideas into a book was subsequently published in 1968 by Clarke under the same title as the movie. After that, Clarke released three sequels to that book, and only one (2010) was adapted thus far.

I just came back from watching Baby Driver.

That was great. The acting was spot on, the action sequences were intense, and the soundtrack/sound desing? Majestic.

Go and see it if you haven't.

Watched Moana last night by myself cuz it was on netflix and I couldn't sleep. Damn that was a good movie. I mean, I could probably nitpick the shit out of it since the pacing and script were weird at times and the ending sorta tanked, but it was just such a fun adventure movie to watch that I'll give it a pass.

Not to mention that I actually laughed a few times at a 3D Disney studios movie, first time for everything eat shit frozen

So today I watched Iko Uwais' The Raid as well as it's sequel. M'boy, I can confirm that these two movies have become my favorite action flicks of all time.

The Raid: The movie goes straight to the point and instead focuses on building tension, which is something that does really well. The acting was good, but nothing really remarkable. The fight scenes has some great coreography, pacing and intensity.

The Raid 2: This movie is more story-driven that it's prequel, helping to tie some loose ends from the previous one. The fight scenes are even better compared with the first movie, being expertly crafted; to the point of considering them some of the best fighting sequences ever put to film. The acting was slightly better than the previous film. Easily the best of the two.

Keep in mind that neither of these two movies are for the lighthearted, since there are some serious instances of brutality and gore in there.

EDIT: So I recently found out that the main star of those movies, Iko Uwais, was featured as a fighter in Man of Tai Chi. That suddenly made me like that movie even more.
