i finally got around to seeing it. i personally thought it was fantastic, i'd probably put it in the top three stephen king adaptations

Stephen King and Tim Curry have given their praise for the new It adaptation.
and it's very much warranted to. the 1990 miniseries outside of curry's performance as pennywise has not aged very well at all so it's good to see something that truly does the novel justice
i also loved how they took advantage of it being set in the late 80's, anyone with an eye for background details can notice the theater showing batman '89 and leathal weapon 2 and elm street 5 later on

I recently watch The Void and I highly recommend it to everyone. It's a very Lovecraftian horror flick and beautifully done. It's also from the guys that made Manborg, so that's an added bonus.

I finally got around to watching Lights Out. I saw the short film the movie is based on several years ago and the movie does it justice. 8/10
Also rewatched Requiem for a Dream because my fiancee had never seen it. Still a beautifully depressing work of art. 10/10

I don't really remember. I haven't seen it since High school, but I want to say that it's not his best movie. However Chris Farley is still pretty funny in it and I remember getting a few good laughs out of it. It's about a guy that was raised by a clan of ninjas because they thought he would grow up to be the legendary White Ninja. He grows up to be a fat, awkward klutz, so doubts are cast on to hm. When he leaves Tokyo to go to Beverly Hills to prove himself, his adoptive brother follows him to protect him.
If anything it's worth a watch just to see Chris Farley's last movie.

So I just finished watching Ang Lee's 'Crounching Tiger, Hidden Dragon'.
It managed to perfectly fuse action/adveture with drama. The characters are all dynamic and their decisions affect the plot (rather than the other way around), this is backed up by the spot on acting. The wire work was actually well done and it helped to improve the action. The scenery and the photography is beatiful.
Overall, just go see it.
