A Game you like where you don't like the player character

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. I like this game, but Edward is such an unlikeable person.

2 out of the 4 playable main characters from Heavy Rain. Madison and Scott (the detective) I liked. Norman and Ethan were terrible characters. Especially Ethan screaming Jason badly in the Mall scene at the start.

I'm kinda mixed on Trevor. I hate how he killed Johnny, and I was really excited to see Johnny too. Yet, I'm from a close enough demographic that most of his jokes are hilarious.

Trevor is by far the best character that GTA has managed to produce. He's a GTA player personified.

Oddly I like Cloud in VII. In VII he has a lot of character to him. He's a young mercenary with his friend Zack with a lot to look forward. At one point you even get to dress up as a female and infiltrate a "love nest". Shit's good.

Then Advent Children came out.

I'm going to have to agree with Cody, I also don't like Cloud. Advent Children just helped cement that fact. Additionally, I'm not that big of a fan of Squall. If y'all want an unpopular gaming opinions though, I LOVED Tidus as a main character. He's not the best in the Final Fantasy franchise, but still a good one.
