Seriously, when was the last time you were just playing a game and you just happen upon a placeholder graphic? Not very often.
(Still a great game, this just sets me off a bit)

The last one that I can think of was Little Big Planet 2.
I just bought Hotline Miami 2 and I absolutely adore it. The aesthetics from the first game have been improved a ton, the different characters and masks are a blast to play with, the gameplay is just as tight as ever, and the soundtrack is simply mind-blowing. I took a small break while playing so that I could buy the soundtrack. This game is a must-have.
Finally got back into Paper Mario: TTYD.

Never played it as a kid, but loved the first PM when I finished it on the Virtual Console, and finished SPM 3 years ago, can't even be bothered with the 3DS one because it seems so shit.

Hopefully it'll be good, right now I can't even remember what I was doing.

Sticker Star is not really shit. It's just boring to mediocre. It's really what you get for relying on Mario to sell games while spending little time makeing the game intresting, which is sad becuse I like the world building that they have in this game and the sticker collecting is really an intresting macanic.
Xenoverse's servers are actually decent enough to be consistently connected now. Still prefer the offline by a long shot though.

Apparently, the entire reason the game turned out like that was because in development Miyamoto said that the game felt too much like TTYD and they have to change everything and he stuck around to help development also.

Funnily enough, on Xbox One it's not that bad.

Yeah, its gotten better since I said that, though. At least now, I can consistently connect and stay online with very little downtime.
Well some company that makes Smartphone games called Dena is apparently teaming up with Nintendo with the intention of having Nintendo IP's on Smart Phones.

Truly a sad day for gaming, possibly a great day for Nintendo since they'll be able to have 1.2 billion smart phone users to sell their shit to, but just in general gaming is dead.

Also Nintendo have said they're making a new handheld/smartphone hybrid apparently. The NX.

I'm not 100% sure on this, since I'm not watching the stream just getting info off sources.
As a hardcore Nintendo fan and a person who is very averse to mobile gaming I feel very wary of what is going to happen with this, but most of the time Nintendo seems to know what it's doing, so we'll wait and see what happens then I'll have a real opinion.

In addition to what you've said, DeNA will also be involved with Nintendos new reward program that is replacing Club Nintendo, which they expect to launch in the Fall of this year.
More games need Dynamic Soundtracks. I've been playing through Burnout Paradise lately, and holy crap I forgot how awesome it feels to have the music emphasize when you've landed a trick or stunt, really grabs you into the game's cuddly arms.
