But the real question is did you guys get to use the Parachute when it was a rainy day or something.
That shit was so cash, we used to play one game where one person would be the "shark" and go under it and try to "grab" you and pull you under with them then you became the shark and had to do the same with other people.
THE PARACHUTE WAS THE BEST THING EVER! We did the exact same thing!
We also really loved the game "Pin Guard", which was basically dodge ball, except the pummeling didn't stop until two pins were knocked over.
OH MY GOD YES! The parachute was the only good thing about gym as a kid next to using those little floor scooter cart things.
Until you RAN OVER YOUR FUCKING FINGERS.

I think I have myself a new favorite post. http://www.vgfacts.com/forums/thread-396...ml#pid8785
"Why not have the toilet In the shower? Think about it, take your morning dump, while you wash? You can sit down, and wash your body, while you expel all you need, then when you're done, a quick spray of the ol' backside there, and you're golden. Make sure you get the plumbing right though, you wouldn't want your morning dump to be coming out the shower hose now."

Just remembered another popular game at my school: Heads up Seven Up. ...Provided the kid who was a total dick by smashing a person's thumb down didn't pick you.

God, that brings me back.
Out of curiosity did anyone ever take those mats they had on the walls that you can run into and not get too injured in Elementary School? Anyone make forts out of them when given free time/play time in gym class?

Down here in Tennessee, "Smear the Queer" was where a bunch of guys ran around chasing the one guy with a football. He either ran as long as he could, seeing how long be could make it before he got pummeled by everyone, or be would throw the ball in the air for someone at random to catch the football and then it became their turn to run from everyone.
It was also not played at school. More like backyard football.
I think I had the record on my block for who could run the longest without getting smeared or throwing the ball away.
Memories......

All I remember was 'races' and 'it'. Mainly because most of my primary school was spent playing Pokemon with the rest of the year. Shit was hype.
Races basically was asking as many people as we could to run from one end of the playground to the other.
Then in secondary school, it was manhunt. IT but you had a set group of people who were 'It' and had to catch you. Last man on, wins.
Lastly, mud wars. During a wet day, or heck even a dry day, you go to the field to collect your "ammo" and sling mud at each other. There was a place called "The Benches" where we played. That was 10 or so years ago and I think the mud is still there. Plenty of people joined in too.

So you're telling me none of you played Home Free?
That was the shit.
You got about 10 people to play or so, and the goal was to get to the "home" without the person who was it catching you. They'd have to count to 10 or so and we'd go hide and then we had to rush to the home without him seeing us and catching us, if he did we also became it with him and had to catch other people.
It was fun.

I never played hide and seek at school, but I played it a lot as a kid with my Dad and brother. We also had an air hockey table in the basement; we had the coolest house around.
Growing up so far out of town in the middle of the woods made tag and snowball fights awesome with all the trees to hide behind.

Flashlight tag was super popular in my neighborhood for ages. One night someone accidentally shined the light in someone's window when it was barely 8 PM and they actually called the cops on us. I could understand if it kept happening and we were being a huge bother, but you're being an asshole if you do it over something so small. These things happen, especially if you live in a trailer court.

We played hide and go seek. See I played Hide and Seek with friends in my neighbourhood, but at school it was different. Playground had a large wall, you were either behind it or not.
