And then hopefully Resident Evil, because that needs saving, too. Honestly.

Nnnngggh... I really hope RE doesn't go back to being Nintendo exclusive...

I wish Sony would buy them, just so that the series would stay on the platform it started on.

Worst case scenario, Microsoft buys them and everything goes down the gutter.

I am getting the feel that it might be a tie between Nintendo and Sony with Capcom. Nintendo would likely have to talk with Sony. Which may be Sony allowing Nintendo to own Megaman, but want in exchange the resident evil series.

I don't see Capcom being bought by Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo. I don't see them being bought by anyone. Dunno.

Then out of the left field comes Sega and all upcoming Capcom games are Dreamcast 2 exclusive. They would make so much money.

We all know that if Microsoft wins this bid, its the Rareware buyout all over again.

Wouldn't companies be able to buy individual IPs from them? Say like Nintendo wants to buy the Mega Man franchise but Sony wants to purchase Devil May Cry, can both companies get those IPs? I'm not familiar with these kinds of situations so that's why I asked. If Sony is able to obtain IPs like Resident Evil, Street Fighter and Devil May Cry and Nintendo can obtain Mega Man that would be amazing. This way we see the games we have been asking for and no more focus on the mobile market.

Didn't Sega do something like that?

Haha, haven't you heard? Sega hates money.

They blame it for the demise of the Dreamcast so they don't like making it anymore.

I mean how else can you explain them not releasing HD remakes they've already finished, denying release of some of their best games to the west and denying continuation of development of some games that had a bit of development without any money being taken from Sega.

As for the Mega Man thing, if Sony actually did buy it. They can't remove it, they must have some sort of contract or something so he stays in the game. It would also be bad for the relationship between the companies, while they are rivals they'd rather stay neutral to each other than start some shit.
