That's no good !
So far I'm not feeling any effects, though the nurse did say that they may pop up after a few days. MY BODY IS READY.

I always considered it a form of displaying dominance to your electronics. The second they go rogue, just smack them. They learn the trick. Electronics these days think they're so damned special and that the world owes them. If you smack them, they crack and then you have to get a new one. I say that's bull. In our day, we used to smack 'em around and they'd learn their damned lesson.
I'm pretty much forced to get the flu shot due to my job. I like how where you folks live the medical staff are honest about the effects but at my hospital they fib and say you might get a little bit of a runny nose or high temperature, but deny that you can actually get sick.

Before they started cracking down, I hadn't been getting the shot because within the week I had always ended up sicker than sick with vomiting and all that other fun stuff. Thankfully that hasn't happened the past two times, but I still think it's a useless shot since they just guess what sort of flu will hit the hardest.

Last year all of Housekeeping got vaccinated and half of them got the flu. Try saying how effective it is after that ><
Hey, my favorite when we talk about ridiculous things is TB shots. I have many allergies, and I am actually allergic to one of the components in the TB shot, even though I don't have TB. As a result, every TB shot I get means I come up positive, as if I have active TB.
Which means I then have to go through a plethora of tests and X-rays to prove I don't have it.

And I have to get shot every 2 years because I work in the medical field and do that whole process. Can't even convince the doctors to just skip the shot and give me a chest X ray. Bleh.
Wow. So a little fanfiction that took me like two minutes to type, and I made up as I went along, has turned out to be my most popular Tumblr post.

No, it's about Woolie from Two Best Friends. It's a running joke that he lives in a filthy place they call "The Woolie Hole", which for some reason inspired me to do that.

Eeeyup, that be my Tumblr.

SERIOUSLY'S INJECTION BONANZA UPDATE
Well that was quite possibly the quickest injection I've ever received.
I must have been in the GP's room for no longer than three minutes. Exchange greetings > Confirm injection > Injection > Kthxbai. (And not a penny to pay, good old NHS.) Now I'm yellow fever and typhoid-proof - COME AT ME MOSQUITOES. More like... mosquinoes, yeah.
