DBZ Xenoverse new confirmed character?

From the screenshots in that article, I figure this is either Gohan & Videl's son (she was pregnant in the last movie), or its just a character creation thing that they haven't announced. I really hope its a character creation thing because

that looks like a terrible fan fiction character.

If you mean Videl being pregnant was from the battle of the gods movie, that was in fact Pan because the events in that movie take place before GT as it is not considered cannon, so this character is likely not her son. In fact, based on the timeline the image you posted give, this character either has to be non-saiyan, or a new survivor of the destruction of planet Vegeta. Assuming of course that this is not a created character. How else could he look so much like a saiyan and be there when everyone else is no planet Namek if not for one of those three reasons.

I suppose he could also be a time traveler like Future Trunks as the article suggest but that doesn't explain the God form, unless of course in his universe, everyone can reach that level or something like that. He also could be from one of the 12 universe's mentioned near the end of the battle of the gods movie.

I just figured it was Kaioken since his eyes didn't turn red.

I'm just really scared it ends up taking this route.
