This is hard,

My internet is special, I have an antenna on the rooftop that picks up the signal from another one (mother base if you will).
For the past couple of months I couldn't play multiplayer properly, always lagging or couldn't find any match. So I talked to the internet guy and he told me that maybe it's from the antenna, so he changed it for a new one.

The problem is, I don't want to risk and buy 3 months of Xbox Live without knowing if it works well now. Anybody has, or knows a promotion for a 48h trial so I can check it out, I would really appreciate.

I don't know off the top of my head. If your computer is decent, you could use that to kind of gauge it, but that's not guaranteed.

I lost my Gold trial between when I got my 360 and getting the net. About a year.
I'm in the process of moving houses, so if I find it, I'll send you the info.
