To tell you the truth, I know almost nothing about the first song. I don't even know if it was released before or after OOT. There doesn't seem to be a Wikipedia page about it.

If any of you can post additional info for this song that would be nice.

1976 is when the first one was released. Nice find. It certainly seems to be the inspiration for Zelda's Lullaby. If you Google "Plantasia inspired Zelda's Lullaby", you'll see lots of results.
