Dissatisfaction about how my correction was handled.
#1
A couple of days ago, I filed a correction on this trivia: http://www.vgfacts.com/trivia/5682/ stating that the game where the song was being sung was specifically Phantasy Star Online 2, I had been PM'ed on the exact same day I submitted this correction by Dazz, but he said the following:

Dazz Wrote:Hi mattwo,

Thank you for your recent report concerning this trivia! Your concerns have been addressed.

I've revised it to be more specifically in reference to the series as a whole.

Keep up the good work,
Dazz

I PM'd Dazz back concerning this problem, supplying plenty of evidence that it is PSO2 but have not gotten a response. I also submitted another report yesterday but that seems to have thus far amounted to nothing.

I mostly just want to verify that this issue is being looked into, or to ask why exactly it's taking longer as I'm new at this and I honestly have no idea how exactly this process even works (I mean I read the guidelines, so I have a vaguely rough idea), as I have six pending submissions related to the Phantasy Star franchise (that I submitted after I left a comment on the latest DYKG saying you should cover the Phantasy Star franchise, only to find that you barely had any Phantasy Star trivia to begin with), and none of my facts have been approved yet (and honestly I'm really not feeling inclined to submit more at the moment).

We currently have 211 pending trivia submissions, of which I am currently going through one by one to assess the source, spelling, grammar, and phrasing for. I'm also then dealing with artwork when I can, and working with tagging and arranging everything. We had 100 just a week ago, and a week before that, 350. As you can see, we get a large number of submission on a daily basis that we simply cannot handle with our current staff count.

When you make a submission, please make it as complete as possible, and give as much detail as you can explaining it. I have not played every game on the planet, and I am not capable to working on 10 submissions at the same time. I am also the only member of staff really capable of dedicating any amount of time to handling submissions at the moment. Please remember that we are only really a 3 man team and this is not our full time job.

We have submissions from 2 months ago still pending - please be aware that we are dramatically under staffed and are unable to spend a large amount of time dedicated to individual submissions. The reason for the confusion was because of your lack of detail in the submission. Why couldn't you have added all of the details that you sent after the submission was verified at the same time as making the submission, and not have me write it out for you? It adds time and stress on my end.

I thank you for your submission all the same, as it drives the site, but please have some patience and understanding.

I'm not sure what you mean by giving details after the submission was verified, none of the submissions I had ever made had been verified at the time. I do apologize for not giving more details in my first correction in the trivia in question, but that was not submitted by myself if that's what you mean. Like I said, I am a bit new at this and I will try my best to provide as much information as possible in the future. The timeliness of your initial response caused some confusion, so I ask that please excuse my lack of patience in this particular case. I apologize for everything else. I can't imagine it is easy running such a popular site with such few people.

One thing you can do that we can all help with is start a thread in trivia evidence with all you information. We can add to it and discuss it. From there, use it that page at the URL source.
Be patient with Dazz, he has his hands full. It's all good, though. Join in on the forums and hang around. Don't let trivia be the only reason you stay on this site. Good stuff. Personally, I joined to put in only one trivia. Been here since.

You'll have to excuse me, honestly I'm not exactly the most social person. In fact even when I get into communities I tend to either vanish for months to years or sparsely post at all.

It's mostly because I have a nasty habit of getting into arguments, even when I am mostly incapable of ever winning any, and I have a nasty habit of sounding ruder than intend to be when I'm irritated, in spite of my best efforts.

Honestly, I just want to make sure this place has plenty of trivia regarding the games I play, especially ones with smaller western fanbases like the Phantasy Star series.

I can understand that. At least post in the trivia discussion section and see if we can help you with anything you need additional info on and if you have two or more URLs as sources. Peace.

Apologies, I mistook you as the initial contributor of the submission. :(
