cameo character from a different medium. As in, a character included in a game from something that isn't a game, not as the primary focus, but involved anyway. These characters can be playable, but they be like Mickey in Epic Mickey or Han Solo in Lego Star Wars. Indiana Jones would be fine though.

Correct. No game characters in cartoons, books, music, movies, or any other form of media. In fact, with the guidelines provided, no cameos of characters originally from games. (That'll probably be the next question)

Sam and Max started out as comic characters so it's still within the guidelines.


Since Gon was already taken this is gonna be tough. I don't know that many characters from other mediums that made their way to a game as a cameo. I would go with Piers Nivans from RE6 (he first appeared in a manga called Marhawa Desire) but he isn't a cameo but one of the main characters.

Sooo... I guess in this case I'll go with the summon spells from Disgaea 4, most of whom are characters from various anime and manga series. The most prominent one, I guess, would be Index as the Omega Heal spell.

I'll go with Rogue Legacy characters. The only thing that defines gender is whether or not they have a pink bow.
