Boxes all the way. Honestly i like the feeling of having the game in a box with the manual, it's that special feeling you don't get with emulation. That and the controller is far better on the console than on the keyboard. Just doesn't feel right playing Megaman X4 with a keyboard compared to a Gamecube controller (i have X Collection, but this means any game to me, honestly)
so there's that, i prefer boxes compared to emulation because the feeling you get when you browse through your bookcase or whatever filled with games is simply indescribable

I prefer physical without question. It helps to that steelbook cases are around, as well as artbooks. Figures are another thing I'm starting to get into. Plus, I kind of like to be able to show people without having to point it out, what it is I've collected in gaming over the years.

Depends on the game, if I have it or it's a lot of money and I'd want the convenience of having it downloaded, I'll download it, but I dislike having games digitally and prefer having them physically.
For some games though, even if they are going to cost me an arm and a leg I'll try and get them. I really want to have a complete Dreamcast collection one day (well, games released in Europe and America) and it'll take a long time and cost a lot of money.

It's more impressive to show everyone what you colect by pointing at the shelve insted of scrolling though a list. It's the same reason that I don't like e-books. It helps protect them and makes sure you can read/play them in the future, but you can't really share a book/game with a friend unless you give them the kindle/system (to my knowledge).

Exactly my point. People can look at my stuff on my shelf and see what I have without me having to seem all showy about it with the list of digital downloads I own. I feel like an ass saying hey look at me when I have to put in effort to show people what I have in the digital realm.

I prefer to own the copy with my own hands rather than downloading it. I decided to wait a while after OOT 3DS came out for the price to go down, but little did I know. The copies sold out fast. I was offered to buy it as a downloadable game, but I declined the offer. I had to go through hell just to find it(found it at a store in a city far from my town) was it worth it? Oh yes.

If its a decent degree cheaper, digital. If its on a handheld, digital. Otherwise, physical.

Have you seen my game/book/comic/movie collection?! Of course not, I haven't posted any images of those yet. Well, expect for my comics. APPS? KINDLE? WHAT'S THAT SONNY?
Ahem... So yes, I do prefer physical copies. The closest thing there was to "digital gaming" back in my childhood were those shareware games you could play on computers. Still, even though I prefer physical, there are exceptions. Like, for example, computer gaming in general. I rarely (if ever) buy PC games from stores anymore because of Steam. Every game (saves included) being available on your account on any computer you download Steam on is a nice feature. Also if there's something cool for free on PSN, a digital exclusive or a PS1 classic for 5€ instead of the 100€ a physical copy would cost me, I'm inclined to get the digital version. For something like PS1 games it's rare, though. I only have like three or four I've bought from PSN. I used to be big on ROMs when I was a poor kid but now I only ever use them for Let's Plays because it's easier to record your screen than go through with the hassle of capture cards etc. As for movies I love getting them on DVD/Bluray but if it's something I'm not entirely sure about I'll... "internet" it. If I really like it I'll buy it later.
Still, when it comes to console gaming I'm always looking for more stuff to put on my shelves. I have to rely on online stores to get most of my games, partly for the cheapest prices and partly because I don't actually live anywhere near a store that would sell games.

Even though I have a massive digital collection on the hard drives of several consoles I will always prefer physical versions. Just recently I set up rows and rows of several games and it really looked neat to see the several games I collected over the years. I get digital copies if they are on a great price or if I'm lazy and don't feel like stepping out to the store (which happens a lot).

Physical all the way. I love the feeling of going to the store, finding the game on the shelf, and putting the game in the console. It's also nice from an aesthetic point of view. You get a nice display of colorful game cases. I personally always get a sense of excitement when I buy a cased game. Sliding in the shelf, looking at it and saying " How many games before I've filled this section of the shelf?".

Week 5 is finally up! I'm sososo sorry for the delay. I have been extremely sick.
I enjoy mods and addons that help the game. I use them constantly on WoW and The Sims. They really help add to the experience for me.
I'm not big on the funny mods myself, but I looove watching them on youtube, especially the ones by my secret crush PeanutButterGamer.

I'm not really much of a mod person. I've only ever used a mod for Brawl that changed skins of characters and stages and I didn't use it for too long. I think mods can be cool, but I like my games vanilla.

I used to, back in the days of Counter Strike, Left for Dead and Command & Conquer. Nowadays I just play games for what they are worth and that's about it.
