Weekly Question (Week 11)

Week 8- Who in the gaming community do you enjoy the most?

I am totally in love with PeanutButterGamer. His gameplay channel is fun as hell.
I also reeeeeeally enjoy the Rooster Teeth (Let's Play) guys and gals.

I love the walkthoughs on ZeldaDungeon
and the information from TradeChat

Hmmmm.... Mullet Mike from The Sticky Paddle is pretty entertaining, in my opinion. I also like Gaijin Goombah.

Let's see here. There's Proton Jon, NakaTeleeli, SomecallmeJohnny, TheRunawayGuys, BrainScratchComms, That One Video Gamer, TheGaijinGamersPlay, and versus.

There are a few that I watch as they make videos. These are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. I really enjoy Proton Jon and NakaTeleeli's informational style of doing LPs (showing off glitches, explaining backstorys, showing off what makes a good game good and a bad game potentially good).

I should also bring up these little known guys that do gaming videos. They're not that good but they're trying...Spoiler:DidYouKnowGaming? ;P JK dudes..

He doesn't do video game video related stuff that much as he used to. But Hellsing920 is a favorite of mine from the gaming community. He used to do a series of reviews that he had separate reviews for. Godawful games(reviewing the games that sucked) and Buried Treasures, that showcased video games that are good but didn't get enough attention at the time they were released.

Many. MANY. I have subscribed to 61 gaming related channels on YouTube and currently I have 25 channels on my follow list on Twitch.

Just my current favorites though, I would say a lot of Finnish streamers on Twitch. Tomstoi, Zetzeriman, HerraMustikka and Retku are what I watch the most nowadays. Retku started out as the Finnish equivalent to AVGN but mostly streams now.

NerdCubed is my favorite on YouTube at the moment, though I do enjoy the occasional ProJared video. AVGN and ClassicGameRoom are cool too.

Oh, and the best/worst gaming company a guy could have is this totally top tier YT star Level 99 Arj... Chickens. Propably never heard of him.

Eh, I don't care much for people in the gaming community. I've only ever cared for AVGN and Rooster Teeth doing Red vs Blue and that's about it.

There's too many. I spend so much time on YouTube and Twitch that I've watched so many people for different reasons it's hard to say who is the favourite. You get all the obvious big names like AVGN, TwoBestFriendsPlay, SomeCallMeJohnny, Arjahn, Total Biscuit, Game Theory and Jon Tron, then maybe the lesser but known people like Happy Console Gamer, MatthewMatosis, MaxamillianDood, ClassicGameRoom and then doing well but not that well known like Happy Console Gamer, Stop Skeletons, MetalJesus Rocks, Kay plays and then the personal stuff like car boot sale people, amiibo hunters, friends, tournament players, video game montage channels...eh.
There's a lot to say about each one. The only difference is their viewer and subscriber count but TotalBiscuit is worth just as much as LawnBoyPost1975 in terms of content and entertainment so....eh.

Twitch in general is just speedrunners, let's players, casual players, specific community members ...eh. Same as YouTube, Team Spooky is still something I'd watch and enjoy as much as my friend and the 2 viewers.

I'd recommend them all really. There really as a shit ton of great people out there on YouTube with like 400 subscribers.

(Again, I'm shit at these. Come join me on the fence)

For me there are almost too many gaming related channels that I watch.

Gaming/lets plays:
My personal favorite person to watch is Mr. Sark, his editing is great and he is unbelievably hilarious.

Other top notch gaming channels are ChilledChaosGameGrumpsRobbazUberHaxorNovaWiiRikeToPray, and GuudeBoulderfist

Specific gaming stuff:
ThatOneFunShow, people tell him about certain game glitches and he tries very hard to perform them.

GameXplain, game reviews, news, and other mostly Nintendo related stuff.

GilvaSunner, he has TONS of Nintendo videogame music and it's all clean, clear, and crisp.

That's about it aside from channels I haven't really formed an opinion on yet.

Yes. A million times yes. For those who don't know, Stop Skeletons is the Happy Video Game Nerd (although he has dropped the name HVGN) and he does great reviews, and he (along with the rest of Space Money Octagon) do hilarious streams (Like SNES corruptions, Is it Really That Bad Live of Clock Tower II, and Hatoful Boyfriend).

Also he has a great band (That has since stopped making music due to the Happy Nerd moving to my hometown, Seattle) which made some amazing music.

If I had to answer the question, I would probably have to say the artist formerly known as the Happy Video Game Nerd.

Star_  has always been one of my favorites. He tends to cut out a lot of the usual youtuber bs and just seems like a guy who loves making videos. Gotta respect that.

For Hearthstone, I really like Trump and Mackenseize. Amaz is alright too.

There a guy on Twitch called AkimotoRai who stream Tenkaichi 3 for 4chan.

There's also this indie guy called Air Jordhan, and a streamer who holds some records called Cosmike the LOLDjinn.

Screen Team make nice videos.

ScrewAttack, XPGamers, TotalBiscuit, ZoominTV, and Janemba8000 are pretty good Youtubers. Same goes for the grumps., official company channels etc.

I want to add a seires that I use to watch and I still think they make videos. The Game Chasers. These guys are the reason that I thought about moving down to Texas. I wanted to go to the place where you can find video games for $5, $10, even $12 when they go for $20, $50, even $100. They are the reason I have been NES hunting.

Too bad Retro Hunters stopped making videos.

EVERYONE- Private message me gaming related questions you would like to be asked. If it is a poll-type question, also send me the poll options for that question. I've been so busy at work, I haven't been able to think of enough questions on my own.

Thanks for the questions everyone! We have some great ideas for the coming weeks :) I should be able to post the new one on Monday morning.
